Nam Phan sits with moe and talks about what a lifetime of fighting has meant for him. He is currently 40 years old and still competing in Muay Thai under WCK. Some people might say he's been fighting for too long and might believe it's time for him to hang up the gloves. Nam on the other hand has no plans of stopping. With a current goal of 50 Muay Thai fights Nam plans on staying busy his goal is 1 fight a month.
Bonus content see a kung fu guy challenge Nam and get smoked.

Why is this man still being allowed to f8ght? He can't even talk anymore from being being hit so much. This is sad, this wrong, and shame on anyone who is allowing this man to continue fighting. He is speaking English yet they still have to put close caption. This breaks my heart.

Nam is a warrior he got nothing more to prove to anyone. I hope his decision to continue fighting is for the love of the sport and competition, and not due to any financial reasons. I am sure he is aware of the effect fighting has had on his brain and ability to speak clearly. I would not have thought he took as much damage as he seems to have taken. You can count on one hand the number of times he has been knocked out in competition and I think I’ve only ever seen him be out cold one time. So clearly most of the damage was done in the gym. I hope he is being smarter about his training these days. He knows what he is signing up for, and he is a grown man. We shouldn’t try to tell a grown man how to live their life. All we can say is we are worried about your health.

He sounds nothing like Diaz. Nate has a speech impediment and a lisp. You new generation of fans throw CTE word around too loosely regarding Nate as a troll to get a reaction. I’ve been watching and following Nate for 20 years, before he even fought in the UFC. I think you fail to realize fighters have to be medically cleared by medical professionals to even fight in the UFC, and they check for CTE annually. This is all public information if you’re curious to go educate yourself.

nate is seeing early signs of cte and medical does not check for brain injureis they just make you do a physical. I don't think you have ever fought or you would know this. currently there is not way to check for cte until after you die the testing involved literally cutting your brain open. many athletes compete with signs of cte including in other sports like football....
