Some things that I asked after the interview as I forgot to ask during were the seperation of KD so there'll be a PVP and PVE KD which is planned and coming soon. The ability for people to change their emails he's also looking into. I would also like to note that during this interview there is lots of spots of pauses where Nikita was writing notes and we cut all them out otherwise there would of been over 30 minutes added of just pauses. Lastly I also asked on an ETA for the audio pop fix during the interview and he said he'll get me a response Monday when I asked again after the interview as I noticed he didn't actually answer during. I tried to give everyone a voice so hopefully you can understand the randomness of some questions but also tried to push the point on things people within the community care about more. Cheers

@OldManBadly4 ай бұрын
of course they want to get it 1.0. You just have to look over the last 18 months to realize that everything they have done has been to create income streams. Arena really was an attempt to create an income stream selling it to everyone, only to end up having to give it away. Fast forward a few months, you get the unspeakable edition. That was pure money grab stuff, and that backfired harded than a poorly thrown nade. So now they are in that space where they need to get a product out the door so they can sell it to us and finally get some income going again. Killing cheater accounts and letting them sign right back up isn't long term supportable as a business model. So the idea is to get to 1.0, sell the game to us again, and go rom there. Don't be shocked if PvE is included and a couple of seasons, after that a battlepass thing is likely to come along to keep paying for servers. So yeah, 1.0 is very important, but mostly financially.

Really nice video and initiative from you, i really appreciated seeing you talk and make points the community tries to and has tried to for short or even long periods of time. It is also good to hear from Nikita that things are moving and seeing both being surprised when you tell him something he is not aware of or being totally aware of it and saying something like "yeah we have it planned it is coming soon". A lot lot lot of positive out of this but i still wanna point out the fact that i felt like there was too many points that you made or questions you asked that really deserved an answer or at least a reaction but right after you talked about it, you jumped right to the next one. I know you said he took a lot of notes and you cut the video so we don't have 30 minutes of him taking notes but when there is no reaction at all from his part on our screen, we can't know anything about what's his reaction. Especially when we have your camera in full screen. I know you did this to make the video more dynamic but it felt like you were talking to the wind in some cases (I know it wasn't, i was just hyped by the question and then no answer was given to me) Maybe, if you have a talk like this again in the future, try to let us see him when you are talking too so we have a facial reaction to you talkin or leave some of the instances in which he would just take note instead of giving a full answer so we know that question mattered to him too. Other than that, really beautiful work, thank you for being our voice.

Props to Nikita for sitting down and answering all these questions from the community. For the future I'd love if you'd ask him his thoughts about these suggestions. I'm curious where he stands on some of these issues the community has and whether or not he agrees. Sometimes you give him a suggestion or feedback, for instance the bit about reserve spawns, you simply say you're putting it out there for him to do with what he wishes. I understand you don't want to tell him how to make his game like some sort of authority on it, but if you'd at least ask him how he feels about it we could get some further insight into his views and vision for the game. Certain things are massive issues that need to be resolved and the game will be better for it, static spawns is absolutely one of them. I'm curious about his thoughts on this as well as the blur when you get hit. It's extremely difficult to return fire on someone when you are ambushed because they're hitting you and blurring your screen unless you saw them before getting hit you have little chance of spotting them while getting hit repeatedly.

As Unheard just dropped... Since 2016, players have supported the developers by purchasing the highest edition of the game. For 8 years, we've been recommending this game to friends, bringing more and more players into the community. And what was the developers' response? They've blown us off, refuse to comment, and only encourage those who have lost all respect for themselves and continue to pour money in. I personally had high hopes for Tarkov. In my eyes, it was a high-quality and most ambitious product on the entire market. This is unacceptable. This is selfish. This is disrespectful. You've disgraced yourselves completely. You've lost loyal players, you've betrayed the idea. It's disgusting. To everyone who feels the same way - don't be silent. Spam, make memes, spread the word wherever it's relevant. This cannot be tolerated.

On the note of the polling, Tarkov Arena has a polling system when you close out of the game that asks stuff like "what bothers you about the game" etc, and I think that would be a cool feature to add, though I think the negative connotations with the Arena questionnaire should be a little more neutral to get a less automatically negative response.

i think something pretty ironic with Tarkov is that a lot of people just REALLY LOVE the game and they got emotional rather fast once something goes wrong or doesnt work. Since i'm able to see people's profile when i get killed i notice that a lot of profiles have atleast 1000+ hours in the game and this is something you dont really see somewhere else. I cant remember seeing this amount of high hour profiles in Battlefield for example. Poeple really love the game and despite its shortcomings people keep playing and when people dedicate so much of their time into something they tend to get more emotional as well. Either way i appreciate Pestily keep playing and showing us the way and also appreciate Nikita being who he is and being the spokesperson for BSG and sticking with them and with us :D

Im very thankful for Nikita finally sitting down to have this interview. I feel it was very needed and long overdue, and Nikita did wonderfully. The only note that I have is that he is saying things are impossible to fix like the AI difficulty or adding in RayTracing features to the game because of "the engines limitations" would cause it to run shit-- it's just straight up not true in my opinion. I play singleplayer tarkov and community members who create the mods for it (absolutely unpaid btw) have quite literally played around with these exact things and have solved them (in my opinion the mods make the game much more playable in this current state) its to the point where I will never play Live Tarkov again until these features are implemented and ready to go. I love this game and I will never stop playing it. It's my passion and my hyperfixation. I just feel like some things that he is saying will never happen COULD have happened if they stopped thinking it was impossible. I hope I don't get a lot of backlash for this, as I know some of you have very strong opinions on SPT (singleplayer tarkov) but I just felt it had to be said. Nothing but love. - Another Tarkov Fan
