Nusrat saab's music transcended all religions, castes, countries and barriers and his legacy will remain immortal forever. His Sufi music always spread the message of love across all communities. The only tragedy is he left all of us too soon and it will be very difficult to replace him. He would have definitely contributed to the future of south asian music had he lived even twenty years more apart from his enormous contributions already. His voice used to touch the soul !

Let's first congratulate the elegant interviewer who is herself quite knowledgeable about music even as she gracefully poses pertinent questions to the great maestro NFAK, an institution unto himself. A lesson for all aspiring interviewers.I'm impressed by the straightforwardness, humility and erudition with which NKAK answers all the questions. This is a lesson for all the aspiring singers of the world, especially, India and Pakistan. The Pakistani goverment should encourage learning of music in schools and colleges. There's a lot India and Pakistan can learn between themselves through cultural exchanges. Let's set up an institution on either side of India-Pakistan border to extend the legacy of NFAK.
