Is it any wonder that Paul is such a great speaker, no. He lets you in and he helps you feel at ease and at home. Such a multi layered artist, how can you not love the guy ? I could listen to Paul all day and I often do.

I never heard these songs before this. Im just blown away at his talent and how prolific he was/is. Just amazing. He was in his mid 40s here.

I remember that Japanese period. We were driving a Suburo and these Japanese passed us in a Cadilliac. That's be about 1980 something or so. I think they had a ten yr. crash after that. I wish them the best.

The best McCartney interview ever(that I've seen); delete as required.

Don't forget Paul McCartney got arrested in Japan and his fingerprints never match with the original Paul McCartney'sand they kept him for almost a month because they thought he was a spy in other words that was not the original Paul McCartney that they arrested that was Billy Campbell and the fact everybody who thinks Paul McCartney lived on after 1966 is mistaken and he even says it himself if you read his book The Memoirs of Billy Shears he tells the world that he replaced Paul McCartney when he died in 1966 he actually tells everybody but yet everyone seems to Just Keep On Believing same old story let's get on with the program people.

Paul actually looks good for his age here, maybe the mullet isn't doing any favors though. Funny that he has basically the same haircut at 77!

Amazing, so much eloquence, clarity and wisdom. A great act and majestic performer. One wonders why the world still seems to ignore his intellectual weight and continues to diminish his outstanding post Beatle life. He does so much for the UK and all around the world. The man is a God. Paul is the whole glorious package and still super cute! Ps. I’m definitely not ‘retarded’ ❤

Great interview. European interviewers are so much better than American interviewers. Ours can’t seem to ever get past the Beatles questions. The interview would have lasted 5 minutes.

Great attitude to teach his kids to keep their feet on the ground. But I'm surprised he's using the terms ''spastic'' and ''retarded'', as they weren't commonly used by 1989. They left the school playground in the 70s.

It feels like all these songs might be about John, don't they? I used to think my brave face was about linda, but she hadn't even been diagnosed at the time There's a lot of grief like songs in this album, and I noticed it was the 80s, even though almost a decade had passed. But Paul was one to repress bad feelings wasn't him?

Always liked Linda - pretty lady... interesting peep - not your submissive lettuce leaf type by any means but equally not at all nasty... she kept him grounded in a lovely way... he has always been confidant guy - never crazy silly just nice guy... Will see her again - great resurrection promised... R.I.P. lovely lady...wife...& mother...

Yes.... Together Lennon & McCartney were great talents - George & Ringo too were both essential to whole sound...pity Lawyers got pulled in... Cynthia & Julian were both treated abominably by John & Yoko... hope Sean has mature insight to look back & see whole scenario as it played out...and give Julian his just share... The difference between a RAT and a LAWYER... There are some things even a RAT wouldn't do....

NRK=Norsk Rikskringkasting[twelve consonants!]. Norwegian Broadcasting. The interviewer is Vera Kvaal. It's probably the *ö* instead of *ø* that is confusing you, as only the Swedes use the first, and the Norwegians and Danes use the latter.

“At least they acknowledged I did something good” anyone would think Lennon Harrison and Starkey were a separate group oops at 6.20 plus he said s he has been living with four guys ha he even said it twice and corrects to three twice oh my
