Thank you all for the nice comments! I did this interview for a class and I tried my best to be respectful and as insightful as I could. I only met Sarge a few times but I have heard so many stories and how much of an impact he made on people. He will be remembered!

I’m only half way through watching. I have to take breaks because I keep crying. As an Army veteran myself, I see sarge as an American hero who put his life on the line many times over. As a swimmer and swim coach, I try to be a little like Sarge on deck. I fail most all of the time. He was one special person. ❤

It always saddens me and angers me to hear how our Vietnam Troopers were treated upon coming home..many of those guys never got a welcome home

@@jackburtoncantsavelopan its funny im From Corcoran Ca and i guess so were all these veterans. Corcoran is a small farm town it made me feel proud. I aslo grew up like them working in the fields for minimu wage.
