Honestly, the emperor thing is the main reason why I start new playthrough. Even tho he is a manipulative character - he's very charismatic. I like the whole dynamic development between him and Tav when you're being civil with him. Honestly, if there was an ending with the emperor - I'd go with that all the time

The Emperor and his story have been my favourite part of BG3 since my first playthrough. It's always lovely to see more interviews with Scott ❤ Such a shame there weren't more nice endings with the Emperor. Staying with him would easily be my first choice.

My stealth face reveal :D Yeah, I was pretty nervous about that (still am) but I didn't think it would make sense for poor Scott to be talking to a blank image. I feel actually being able to see people's reactions while they talk adds a lot to the interview. So here we are!! Thank you so much for the painting praise too! Haha! Thank you :D I'm so blind without my glasses that I'm just sort of stuck with them. It is my art :) I've been trying to work on painting more lately and have been doing some fanart of the BG3 characters to kind of say thank you to the actors for coming on the channel. I was hoping to get a shocked reveal sort of a thing, but each time we screwed up recording it.. or I got nervous and forgot about it entirely! xD I'm so glad you enjoyed the interview though!! It was a lot of work all around just setting it all up, editing, etc. You obviously hope it's going to be something people will enjoy! But I know I'm still very new at it, so I also feel like I'm going to suck before I get any good!

I can understand why they didn't promote him as much in the beginning with the spoilers and such, but now he's able to talk more about his character. And I am just loving your content. This was so gooood!!!! Never seen an interview with him before, you both did so well 💜 I love hearing about the process for mo-cap, so interesting how it works and the way the poses need to be done. Kind of reminds me of Kabuki, not the exact movements, but the reasons for particular actions and the technical processes behind each movement. Bahahaha so bashful about the romance content. I wonder if he's aware that during his streamed playthrough Astarion is romancing himself... rather gleefully - Ahhh Neil. Love his content. So here for it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Its interesting that average height is considered ideal for motion capture. I remember watching the interview with the actor for Dutch from Red Dead Redemtion 2 saying he also had some difficulty because he was taller than his character.

Yeah, I was surprised by that too! I would think it would match up more on a per character basis - IE if the character is muscular.. or if the character is tall.. a matching physique would work better.
