Only thing worth saying after this episode: Daniel is the messiest b!tch here. Why? Because how can you destroy the same marriage twice in fifty years? XD In terms of comparisons with the novel, I'm actually glad they decided to add Armand into that part as a way to really understand Louis and his personality. On the books, we don't really learn why Louis does the interview. We are left to guess based on how the sequel begins. I'm a bit on the bummed side they didn't get more creative with the reasoning, but works great for setting up season three.

Agreed. I love how similar and different are young and old Daniel. Like the same man but with different life experience. Young is more open and less confident, old is sarcastic, sceptic and confident. But they have the same smile and manner.

Daniel has more storylines in the books!!! And I love them so much!!!! We have a season 3 renew, and I hope they will do more of his story in S3!!!!!!!

I can’t wait! I can’t decide if the series will have David’s character just morphed into a mashup character with Daniels character. I’m wondering if it will be Lestat or Armand that will turn Daniel. I’m also wondering if Daniel has met Lestat and didn’t know it. As Raglan James the body swapper , has already been introduced

I'm on the same page with you about Daniel. Considering how much I couldn't stand him in the beginning he's really grown on me as the season progressed. And Luke's casting as younger Daniel was something special.

In the books, Armand has a surprise relationship with Daniel and Armand turns him, his one and only fledgling ever. He knows Daniel is dying and he has become quite find if Him. He also knows that Daniel knowing about the vampires is driving his insane

Armand has a better nature than Lestat. You got that correct. However, Armand can be colder and brutal than Lestat if you push him enough.

@@다크씨-x6r it's crazy how easy it is to tell you haven't read the books Louis doesn't love Armand, that's the whole plotline in and of itself. Lestat/Louis is the foundation of this show and the whole VC series And Armand is a lot more petty, selfish and pathetic than Lestat. For someone who doesn't want Louis hurt he did an awful amount of things that do hurt him. Both mentally and physically. He's also jealous because Louis got Lestat's affection that Armand wanted but never got

@@Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp Most of us haven't read the books, most of us found out about VC literally from this series, and I personally won't read the books cause I don't want to get spoiled, when we talk about IWTV we most of the time are talking about the series and not the books. I may read the books if a season 3 isn't confirmed.
