Kristen was 12 years old when she was in this movie. I think Claudia became a vampire around that age. Possibly 10 years old. It's been so long since I read the book.

every one forgets ths lestat lovede claudia to just as much as louis. it was she that turned aganst him and in Tale of the Body Thief lestat admits that he is hanted by her memory and he longs to be with her. he realy regrets what happend to her. good song and good vid 5 out of 5 :)

Oh -- and Claudia didn't bring in Madeleine to add to the family. She wasn't satisfied with Louis and thought that Louis was going to leave here, therefore made Madeleine so that someone could take care of her. She asked Louis to stay with him, but Madeleine was made because Louis was going to leave with Armand.

Lestat (Tom Cruise's character) made Claudia a vampire. Claudia liked Louis (Brad Pitt's character) better than Lestat, which was how they were "lovers", in a way. She burned to death because Armand (Antonio Banderas' character) wanted Louis for himself. The theatre's reason for burning Claudia was because she attempted to kill Lestat.

You feel for Louis when she dies, but technically she was going to be out of the picture soon anyways, so it was better story that she was killed. That way Louis didn't want to go with Armand
