Interview with Twisters cast; those WILD tornado scenes!

I love that the production team brought in real storm chasers and meteorologists and actually listened to us. When the original Twister was being filmed, storm chasing was still somewhat of a novel concept, mostly practiced by only the scientific community. "Twister" made storm chasing mainstream, and today, there are thousands upon thousands of storm chasers and weather enthusiasts that hail from all over the globe. This time around, the production team had a much larger community to tap into. Also, tornado videos from the 90's didn't have anywhere near the resolution as today's videos, so VFX artists had much better real word examples to pull from. The tornadoes in this movie are easily the most realistic to hit the big screen. Based on what I have seen in the trailers and interviews, "Twisters" delivers on the same level as the original, but in some ways, even better, though, it's going to be hard to top the soundtrack from "Twister." Can't wait to see this film next week.
