That’s very common for musicians in general. The image they portray doesn’t exactly resemble their real personality. Werewolf isn’t a bad guy. The lyrical references to evil and the devil are for shock value. I believe he’s a luciferian. Not a devil worshipper

It’s called shock value, making a powerful and steel-fisted statement in music. Doesn’t mean he IS ns. If I’m in a band with a fat guy, does that mean I believe everyone should get fat like my band mate? Uhh nope. Could make many other points but there’s one of many Bathory sang about dark satanic stuff, gave interview explaining “yeah that was just shock value and the same for all the Viking folk stuff we do now” People’s brains just seem to have a hard time understanding these things

I believe he was initially just doing the "black metal selling point" with the NS stuff. Lots of edgy young people like using Nazi imagery for sock value. He has since denounced those ideologies and just focus's on satanic dark fantasy themes. I never see people siege heil at his shows either, and he never shows support for it in any way from what I understand. He does work with other bands that do seem to be NS but that is really common with ignorant finnish Black Metal and they do not reflect his beliefs. I could be totally wrong but I think this seems to be the case.

Europe and Southamerica has total different aura when it comes to BM. Europe looks so full of festivals and tours and production and shit, but i do really thing they lack of passion: pretending to be "black" forget all about "metal". Look what happened with Watain.

I agree and disagree with this, depends on point of view. Amount of passion is roughly the same in people everywhere but when you get served better and more its obvious that the rebellious teenage angst will get tired quicker. However it clears your thoughts faster as well and makes easier to focus on what's most important - the music. Eventually fans become sensitive to production values even if they are not conscious about it. I am much more selective with venues/bands than what I was 20 years ago and being more patient. I prefer to take less but in better quality and let the next generation of fans create something that is truly theirs. Its not even important if I enjoy it but if this is how things have to be, let it be.

I’m in ‘murca and have to say I’m jealous. There’s literally not much of any scene for metal down here. I mean, in a few select cities. But if you’re elsewhere, nothing much… so cool Europe and SA has actual scenes and fests. Not to say NA doesn’t but damn we don’t got much tbh

On top of that, I don't buy that logic, because many bands are using kabbalistic/goetic symbols, which obviously indicates more than a mere passing interest for the sake of publicity.

@@DerMeister821 Yes. There is a funny thing here: you can sing about massacre in the name of satan as much as you want, with most bloody and cruel vocabulary you can imagine - thats just ok. But when you start to sing about jews, germans, wotan etc. you become offensive and dangerous. This just shows that no one considers satanism as anything serious at all. Maybe they did consider it as a threat for 2-3 years somewhere in Norway, but after... thats just kids playing and crying.
