If I've learned anything watching rpg yt videos, it's that there are two kinds of people: those who say "best-iary" and those who say "beast-iary." And BOTH are CORRECT (officially -- check a dictionary). In fact, it's also correct if you say it with a "t" sound or a "ch" so there are actually FOUR types of people. So the only people who are wrong are the ones who say their way is the only right way. Which is a good metaphor for life, no?

cool. i have a copy of the german version on my shelf, that got put together by a couple of passionate people, who love the game. i first thought Cairn would be just another small OSR game, but this made me realize that i should read and explore this rather sooner than later. thanks for the insight!
