I tested many sleeping bags and quilts, but the Zenbivy is the only system that feels like a bed to me. Thanks!

I bought the light bed and full sheet. Love it. My wife and I are now looking at purchasing the duo sleep system and using it with our EXPED mat.

I've considered getting the duo when I take my dogs with me. I carry two quilts when I take them anyway, so this would be better because they prefer to sleep under the same cover as me. Thanks!

Xenbivy Website needs work. I want to see the information I need at glance. For example I am looking at gear page. What do I see Title and Price. What I should see. Sizes that are clickable to see info on that item for pads like R value. With a Specication link to click. Instead I have to click the product to get any information at all. I have no comparison on the site. I should be able to compare 2 or 3 pads side by side with the Specifications. Why is this one more money then this one? If I am looking for R7 and they are all R5 or less then I can leave an not waste my time. Any how when I see a web site designed this way I go else where. I see so much work that needs to be done to make it user friendly. When I look at a product all I see is Specifications no writing under it. The other items above it have a paragraph which is great for SEO. It feels like they do not want people to click that. When Specifications is everything on parting with your hard earn money. Maybe its just me.

@@BackpackingGearNut The interview was OK. But it felt like you really did not prepare for it. Why did you not ask some tough questions? Hes the owner. 1) How do you test your pads? 2) What type of warranty does the customer have? 3) What makes you stand out from other companies? 4) Have you removed down from quilts? - This is actually a review on his site. Warrenty is very important. You take NEMO for example my knife slid off my chest into the pad. I thought no way will they send me a new one. I owned this pad for 7 years. They actually sent me a new pad I was amazed. Only bad thing is it took 2 months. I looked at his warranty and its horrible. So maybe more questions about warranty and getting him to be more specific because the web site is not. When I read it I got the feeling of well if you like you might do it. Any question you ask should be sent to him a head of time for him to prepare also. This way your not surprising them but you getting down to what really matters. When he says a pad is R6 how did he come to that conclusion? How did it test it? This is very important. Imagine going out in -20F and the pad was not tested and fails. You could die. Thats a bit important. :) If your going to run the big boys like Thermarest then back it up and tell us how you test and do you test better then them? Another example - The only water filter I will use is first need its expensive but they are the only company that sent me hard copies on the testing they did. They stand behind the product. If your going to interview people then ask them questions customers want to know. Not how many colors it comes in. Anyhow the more practice you get the better you will get. Make sure you do your research did you goto to his site and read all the reviews? NOPE. Did you compare the products and understand why one cost more then the other? Even if you know the answer you have to understand the people watching may not.

ZenBivy has been cutting corners. using less down for one which makes you wander how much more they have cut. Quilts are fine for Spring, Summber, Fall but not winter you need a mummy bag. thermarest has a cold chamber to test pads and bags. Does Zenbivy have one? How does Zenbivy test thier items? Thermarest pads and mummy bag is what I trust to go -20. When I lay on a thermarest pad that's R7 I can feel the heat come off it. I have not bought one thing from Zenbivy they lack intervation they just seem like they copy others. How do they test the R value of thier products? I spend a lot on equipment. I just bought a Hikenture Camping Pillow. Which is amazing not one of Zenbivy pillows look any good. I am not trying to get down on them but just seems they need to come out of box. Show people how they test.

Thanks for your interest in Zenbivy. Here are the answers to some of your questios: No, we have not removed any down from any quilt. In fact, this year we "snuck in" an extra ounce of down in several of our 25 degree bags. Our beds will work in all temperatures. a -5 Bed with 3.75" of loft is coming this winter. A Zenbivy Bed is not a quilt or a bag and does not have the negatives of either. We test mattresses according to the ISO standard with our own ISO-standard test equipment. We test sleeping bags based on total measured loft, and we calibrate this to EN/ISO rating system verified in the cold chamber at University of Kansas to establish comfort and limit ratings. We don't copy others, and we have 4 issued patents and 3 patents pending that prove it. There is nothing like a Zenbivy Bed; nothing. Comparison charts are available for every product; we just cant show them all on the "all gear" page. You asked about mattresses for instance. This page shows every mattress, in a chart, with every specification, compared to all the others. zenbivy.com/pages/which-mattress-is-right-for-you. If you have trouble finding any of the other charts, you can email or chat with our CS team and they can guide you. All Zenbivy products have a lifetime warranty. What makes us stand out from other companies is our design. Everyone else makes bags. Zenbivy makes beds.

@@Zenbivy Thank you for getting back to me. When i said some items on the gear page like R rating I was not saying all the specs just some quick facts like R rating. Just a couple specifics. The chart is great this would be nice if it was easier to find then you having to provide a link. Your own ISO standard? What does this mean exactly? One of your ratings a person stated you have removed down and he no reply you might want to look into that. Some video of this cold chamber while they test your product would be nice to see. thx for the reply

@@SurvivalSavvvy I reread what ZenBivy said in their statement and they’re not using their own iso standard. It says they’re using their own testing equipment to adhere to the standardized en/iso rating. I hope that is helpful!
