You run to lock the door and manage to lock it just as the doorknob starts to turn. when i was little i used to talk to ghosts, me and my family moved into this house out in the middle of nowhere when i was like 3 maybe 4, and i never slept in my room, i told my mother the man in there was being mean and didn't want me in there. this went on for a few months till my mum got sick of it and told the 'ghost' to stop being mean to me, and said that he could stay with us but he had to be nice. after that she would find me singing songs from the 50s and talking to someone. when we had to move out of that house as we just pulled out of the drive way to leave i screamed that "Fred" (the ghost) had to come with us, i opened the car door and then told my parents that we could go now because "Fred" was with us. im 17 now and i am sure that Fred is still looking after my family, i know it sounds like bs but i know that i see him sometimes. :)

Britney, i’d love if you’d ask your mom if ghosts or spiritual beings have a connection to dreams/nightmares or dream paralysis. Since my two older siblings swear by this story. The house i grew up in had three floors, both my siblings slept on the second floor. One night, my sister woke up to a man laying next to her with a very tense look on his face, she said he looked at her and grabbed her by the shoulder and said something along the lines of ‘you can’t do this, you can’t go’ 😳. She said she couldn’t move at all. Then, the man suddenly vanished and she could finally move, and my brother knocked on my sister’s door. She opened the door, and he said ‘sorry to bother you, i just got so scared, cause i just saw like a black shadow going down the stairs’. LIKE I DONT KNOW WTF WAS GOING ON BUT I WISH MY SIBLINGS ARENT LYING CAUSE THEYVE BEEN TELLING THIS STORY FOR LIKE 10 YEARS GIRL 😳

@@2001roserose the fae are definitely in the woods near my house. I’ve even found a sort of gateway made from branches: worst part is, not many people know how to get down to Deadman’s Creek, and those that do are too old to hike down the hill. There legitimately could be faeries in those woods. I’ve felt like I’m being watched, and not just by birds. I’ve had a bird egg drop right in front of me from a tree while I’m walking down a really sketchy small path, and I just-there’s definitely something in those woods. I love them and I intend to protect them, and hide their secret, and I don’t think one or two comments here or there will really get much attention.

Hey Brittany's mom! I have a few stories. I studied biopsych so I have kept them to myself for reasons, but this feels like the right place to say them. Please help me understand what I experienced! Background: When I was little I would experience unexplainable things often at night and wouldn't sleep well until about age 10. During the day I was very emotionally stable, I knew that I had to keep them to myself or people who read into it too much. I saw incomplete visual things and heard strange sounds, I had repetitive dreams, I guessed when my mom was pregnant at age 7 before she knew, and to this day I still have dreams that come true or sort of come true. All of my dreams have always been lucid, I have never had a normal dream. Story 1: The Shadow demon? When I was about 5 I started having lucid dreams of a shadow man with a sort of weapon chasing me around my grandma's house and the forest around it. Somehow I knew it wanted to kill me so every time I had this dream my goal was to escape but it always knew where I was and the dream always ended with me running up the hill, knowing it's behind me, and then darkness and I wake up. These dreams and this pattern continued until I was about 10, when instead of running up the hill I turned around and ran at it and thought "You should fear me" (something like that). And I never had that dream again. Weird. Story 2: Around the same time I was having those dreams mentioned before I began sensing a presence watching me when I was sleeping or sometimes when I was going about my business in the apartment. It didn't feel like it wanted to harm me but I was scared because it's scary. It would happen unexpectedly and I would pretend I didn't feel it and thought that if I ignored it it would stay low. One night when I was about 6 I was hyper and running up and down our apartment hallway, I was in a very excitable mood before bedtime. As I was running from my mom's bedroom to the front door I saw something for the first time with my own eyes. It was a translucent human shadow with no hair, no face, directly mimicking my run and speed, my size, and it ran in the opposite direction as me through the wall like the wall wasn't there. One thing that still scares me is that it didn't have hands or feet, instead it had these jagged pointed limbs. It's like they were rough but ended in a blunt point. It was floating above ground but moved like it had feet and hands. If it had feet they would have been touching the ground but because it did not, it was floating. I hope this makes sense. I stood there in shock and pretended to my mom like I was only tired. Story 3: I had identified that there were two different shadow things and I could who was what based on how I felt. The scary one was only in my dreams. The one in our apartment was entirely passive. I did not like either. After not sleeping for two days around the age of 6-7 my mom took me to see a psychologist who I told about the scary goblins (didn't know what to call them) with some toys and a sandbox. She thought I was speaking figuratively. The weeks following were rough, I felt like there was something around me all the time. My sleep was terrible and eventually I broke down crying and my mom asked me to tell her the truth. So I described it to her perfectly and she looked it up online and discovered "Shadow people," and lost her mind. She saged the house but it didn't do anything. I told her it did because I didn't want her to be afraid. I got used to it and lived my life normally after a while. I moved to another city with my dad around 13 and saw it in his house and realized it would follow me. It's like a shadow clump that's a different shade from other darkness so in a way I sort of could see it sometimes. And I thought, yeah enough is enough. So I thought thoughts at it? And I said, "You need to leave, I'm too old. I don't need you here anymore, you need to go" (something like that?). And when I woke up it was gone, never seen or felt it since. Story 4: Recently I went on a hike. I got this dreadful feeling after touching some rocks on the hike and immediately felt emotional pain caused by bigotry or some sort of unfairness? It's hard to explain. My partner was with me and I had to explain that I got a "bad feeling, like people have died or suffered here, a lot of them." He believes me so we left. I looked it up and that river was the exact site of an old cannery that forced Native Americans and then eastern Asian folks to work there, ran by a white gentleman. No real history on any abuse, only complimenting his salmon cannery and skimming over the details about the "workers." Biased smh. I have more stories! They're strange and I don't know how to explain them well. Some are sad so I didn't list them.

I completely know what brittany's mother meant when she said some spirits are stuck in a time loop!!! I was 4 years old when my parents bought an old heritage home in croydon (sydney, australia) the house was opposite a railway track and trains went by constantly. there was a hallway that ran down the length of the house. our bedrooms, the laundry room, and the bathroom came off along the hallway. I refused to go down the hallway by myself and if I had to go down the hallway alone to go to my bedroom or the bathroom I apparently would close my eyes and sprint. I don't remember much about that house but my parents always say that I could sense something and I didn't like it. my parents recall nothing paranormal happening within the first month of us moving in but then after that things happened EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. every single night like clockwork they would hear the front door burst open and a group of people rush inside with an injured little boy who had been run over by a train across the street on the train tracks. the group of people always did the same thing and carried him down the hallway and into the kitchen area. mum and dad say they never saw the people (they guess 3-5 people minus the injured boy) but that they heard their shoes on the wooden floors, bits and pieces of what they were saying, and also the boy's mother crying. I can see it all in my head like a movie and it makes me so sad. upsetting that those spirits have to relive that awful moment again and again and again 💔
@spookyalice3337 ай бұрын
I've read and heard from several mediums and people with experience that these residual hauntings are not necessarily sentient, it's just an energy pocket/portal that is tied to a specific moment in time because of how intense the energy of that moment was. They say time is an illusion and all things are happening at once, and residual hauntings are just a little window into seeing the moment it was happening.

When I was about 7 years old me and my best friend went on a 2 day girl guide trip out to the middle of the woods. We all stayed at a little cabin that opened up to a big main room and 2 rooms on either side one for the camp leaders and the other for the girls. Night came and we all got ready for bed. The girls room had rows of bunk beds for all of us. My friend was on the bed across from me, we were both sleeping on the top bunk. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and seeing something pass by the window from the girls room out into the main area. The shadow then made its way through the doorway of the girls room and made its way through the rows of beds to my far corner of the room. It kept coming closer to my bed until it disappeared just feet away from me. Me and my friends were all taking about paranormal things a few years later and when I told this story my friend who had also gone to that camp told me that she experienced the same thing. We both had the same story and could describe the figure as a shadow that was tall and skinny. It was by far the most terrifying thing I have ever seen
