Let me tell you a hidden secret, up in the north of England during the early 70's little feet had - and I guess - still has its most dedicated audience. Back in 1975 the word went out that they were going to play in Manchester and around 1500 of us drove all the way to watch them and the majority of the audience went to watch Kenny Gradney. Kenny is unlike any other bass player he plays with the heart and his sound is what makes Little Feet what it was and still is, on stage we could see that his sound and the way he played inspired the audiance and motivated George to sing better and keep going.

Got to meet, and was sold a concert t-shirt by, Ken Gradney this past July 8 2010. Really, really personable guy. Just an un-imaginably talented and skilled group of musicians! Catch one of their shows if you can, your ears will love you forever!

I saw them in concert in Dublin years ago, just loved them and their music forever. I remember thinking Lowell George was smiling down on them from on high just bequething the band which such everlasting rock classics. The song Dixie Chicken is as good as it gets... Thank you for posting this.

Glad that I was born when I was and got to grow old listening to them. I was in DC the night Lowell died and Victoria BC when Richie left. No idea where I was when Paul died. Kind of glad actually. It's too damn sad to contemplate. Long live Little Feat.

I got the chance to see Little Feat somewhere between 20 and 25 times, the first, in 1975, in Nashville, Tennessee, and the last, in New Orleans, I'm guessing 2009 or 2010 ... they were a great live band. The Shawn Murphy experiment was short sighted, but other than that ... pretty seamless, since the band got back together in 1987-88 (Rest In Peace, Lowell, Paul, Richie ...)
