Same for me. Initially diagnosed as Crohns and taken steroid for 4 months and not cured and after many hospitals, found it was Int TB. Taken ATT for 9 months TB cured but now I have fibrotic stricture in My large intestine, Doctors are suggestion surgery as there is no cure for stricture, Anyone faced the same ? and what is your opinion on this

Intestinal tuberculosis can be confirmed by tests like chest x rays, sputum tests , blood tests and Tb skin test. Crohns disease diagnosis is based on medical history, physical examination and tissue biopsy as well as endoscopy and colonoscopy.

TB primarily spreads through airborne droplets from the lungs. Extra-pulmonary TB usually results from the initial lung infection and involves lower concentrations of TB bacteria. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are essential to prevent progression and transmission.
