Does it ever lift up? Mine doesn’t stay in place no matter how tight I have it attached 😩 it’s constantly unhooking so I had to remove it

Jajukween yeah we have to readjust it all the time and remove it when the kids swim

Some people have used a sponge to help keep it in place. I’m going to give that a try

does the skimmer need a 800 gph filter pump because i use a 530 gph filter pump and a 12x30 intex pool so i don't know if it will still work

it needs to be at least 1,000 gph filter pump

Can the pool skinmer work with the 1.5 outlet?

I think it should as the skimmer attaches to the outer threads on the water inlet once you take the grate off
