GOOD FOR COLD WATER ONLY. IT DO NOT HOLD INTERNAL PRESSURE AND STIFFNESS FOR OUTBOARD ENGINE IN HOT FLORIDA DAY.

Love it! I had the SH2 for about ten years now but haven’t got around to a motor. It rows fantastic. Great inflatable.

Wow ... 10 years ... long life ... with motor vibrations in cold water it got cracked in less than 1 year (there is one my video about those cracks)

:) ... в жару пластик мягкий. Давление и мотор держит плохо. Если вода холодная то норм будет. От холодной воды давление падает. Минут через 10 в воде уже подкачивать надо.т.е. насос с собой в лодке должен быть.

When I try a gas motor it wants to sink under the water the motor pulls down very badly, how come yours is so stable?
@RUS_US

1) My motor was light enough 2) put 1gallon of water at nose.

Nice set up. How is it holding up. I wanted to buy one but was a bit nervous as the material is only 20 gauge thickness. Please let me know how it holding up,very curious. Thanks

Sorry for my English. I do not understand the term "holding up". What do you mean? My general opinion: Advantages: 1) This solution is functional. you can see all my video about this combination 2) It is the cheapest one $50 for boat + $20 for motor mount kit + $ 50 dollars for floor (or free if you have a board) 3) the main advantage for me is light weight. I even can lift all staff by one hand (Motor 35lb + boat 15[lb]). But normally I carry them separately. And the light weight boat is extremely safe my back from pain which I had with INTEX Mariner 4 (80[lb]) 4) two sections ... you can see one my video where I have got one section failure ... and still use it but without the motor.5) I have used it more than 30 hours in cold water (50F). Have got some defects. Repair it. But I still alive and the boat was OK. 6) takes really small volume when deflated and can be easily stored. 7) you will be able to get inside even if you will fall out (see one of my video) Disadvantages: 1) not very comfortable for sitting (small boat). But comfortable for lying in the boat like in sofa. I like seat position with Mariner 4. No problem to seat on one side or completely inside.2) obviously it is not durable material because of small thickness and brittle material in cold water (50F or 10C)3) You can see one my video of fatigue cracks I have found after ~10 hrs of using with the motor at high speed. I was easily repaired ... but yes ... it is not durable4) Never go to water for without pump for longer than 1 hr. Inflatables are trying to deflate ... especially when you overinflate them to add rigidity for engine support 5) I always overinflate it to add rigidity for 2.5 motor mount (it should be 1.5 per user manual) ... and internal 4[in]/10[cm] check mark increased in length up to 1.5 times for internal section (N2) (should be 4[in] per manual). The boat was OK and functional ... but the internal section (N2) valve got permanent oval deformation. For sure the reason for that is the small thickness of internal section (N2). I have repaired it by hot boiled water to make it round again. 6) you should hold some weight at fwd area to balance motor when you are not inside. Otherwise, the motor will roll over the boat. For sure you are right about your concerns. You should always be prepared to troubles during using of such thin-walled inflatable boat

Ruslan B " Holding up "means is it durable. Is the boat and motor still functioning properly after an extended period ? By the way you did a nice job on the video.

You could find my another video where I have performed repair of cracks in the bottom. Cracks were caused by overpressure + engine vibratory loads. After the repair, the boat was fully functional. Then I have moved to FL and discovered that INTEXT does not hold overpressure in hot water and sun. Without overpressure, this package and general performance fail.

Are you able to stand on the body board in the water? I like to stand on my seahawk 2 sometimes while fishing. I just bought the bodyboard and seahawk 2 but havnt taken it out to the water yet.

no. instead you can turn it 180 degree ... but it is not work well on flexible boat. motor bend it to dive under water.

The motor is too large for the boat I recommend removing it for something smaller. It is twice as much what you should have on it. You need a small electric motor with a battery this will be less weight and the boat will last longer...

you are right, but if not to use full power then it is ok. with electric motor i will not go far or in big waves.
