Here in Europe, that pool comes with a cover. If it is covered until it is not used, the water will be clear for quite a long time. Another problem I noticed with you, and my friend also had it when he built it for the first time, is that there is a tree above the pool, which definitely speeds up the dirtying of the water.

I tried using the cover but it was such a pain to get on and off, also it kept sinking under the water. I found that my chlorine stabilizer level was chronically high so that definitely made it harder to keep clean as well. The temperature where I live was over 37 degrees C for 100 days last summer so the pool needed all the help it could get.

I bought the same brand but the round 20x 52 we are putting up / in a new big ladder now . I’ll be posting but I’m subscribing and following you for your pool knowledge lol .

That digging is a lot of work, but well done putting everything together! I wonder if the ladder would be less wobbly if the back legs were a foot into the ground like the pool itself

We are looking at this pool. It comes with everything you talked about and a vacuum cleaner too. We got a 16ft round pool for free and it is a bit big for us. Nice review. How did the insulation help out with heat transfer to the ground? I live in PNW and I will need to look at a heater. 65 degrees is not ideal for the family to swim comfortably.

@@Claps1775 The vacuum hose and pool poll I had to buy separately as well as the skimmer. Not sure the insulation will help much with keeping the pool warm. I live in south Texas so the pool water is 90 degrees right now but the water temperature quickly fluctuates with the outside air temperature. I think the pool losses most of the heat from the top and sides.

Great video. Where did you get the pool lights? They look awesome at night.

Why dont they make the surports adjustable , so you can just turn them and level of the pool , it would make life so much easier .

Question....what size wood blocks did you put under the legs and did you just lay them on top of the foam insulation? I thought they needed to be counter sunk to make them level with the ground but I can't tell in your video. I bought the same pool and am getting ready for installation so any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
@Viera95
@Viera95 7 ай бұрын
I used some 2x6 boards I had laying around cut some blocks. I made them level with the ground and put the insulation on top of them. the foam insulation crushed under the weight of the legs so it doesn’t matter if it’s under the legs or not.

The 2×6 boards go right under the legs of pool? I used cement pavers last summer and the weight of the pool broke through few of the cement pavers so I want to try to use the 2×6 boards but I'm alil unsure how to because it doesn't show in video.

Nice video! Where did you buy the foam pads for under the pool and how much were they? ?I did the same thing as you last year and ended up digging like you bout foot and half. It took me few months. I was working alone. I had a 10 ×16×48 Coleman bestway . I see the Intex 9×18×52 is better for few reasons so I'm ordering mines next week but now I got to work on dirt 🙂 & goin to add some dirt back and also looking for something to put under like the foam or rubber

The foam is called foam board insulation. I bought mine at lows. Its looks like it’s listed for about $20 a sheet now. The sheets are 4foot by 8foot I think I only needed 5 sheets.

Great video! How did you get the pool permit. Can you please explain more about it. Thank you
@Viera95
@Viera95 6 ай бұрын
I was able to find the information and apply for a permit on my city’s website. I had to submit a sight plan and have my backyard inspected after I got the pool set up. Each town is different so unfortunately I can’t really tell you how to go about getting one or if you even need a permit in your area. Hopefully your lucky and live in a place the doesn’t require one.

I dug a 10x20 hole. It actually ended up being to long and almost not wide enough so if I where to do it again i would dig 11x19 foot instead.

Hi was the 2×6 wood you used for under the legs treated or just regular lumber? , i got the 1ft square cement pavers but undecided. I just want it to be as level as possible 🙂
@Viera95
@Viera95 6 ай бұрын
I used pressure treated wood. Regular lumber would definitely rot with ground contact. I think I remember the directions saying to use wood but Pavers would probably work alright although it is possible they could crack. There is a lot of weight on the legs.

Oh man...sorry to bug you again. Did you ever upgrade your pump/filter system and if so what did you go with? I know you said the one that came with it was not very good. Thanks again
@Viera95
@Viera95 7 ай бұрын
No unfortunately I don’t have the money to upgrade the pump and filter last summer. Thankfully the summer ended and the water quality got a lot better. I realized I had a problem with high stabilizer in my water which didn’t help anything. I drained the pool for winter so I think the new water will make the filter work a lot better.

your mistake is not equpiment, but your lack of knowledge aboud chemistry. The most important part is PH not, the chlorine
@Viera95
@Viera95 3 ай бұрын
PH was good. Turns out my chlorine tablets were raising the CYA way too high. This year I stopped using them and it’s been a lot better.

That being said the pool could still benefit from a larger pump with more flow especially for vacuuming.
