My brother got one of these new from a Line6 employee. What a great device. Great sounds. Everything you need. Shane good stuff as always.

Thanks Stu. These are digital but they feel Analog on the way the controls work. They aren't complicated to use which is a good thing and there's no list of 1000 presets on the unit either which is good :) It's a decent unit for reverbs & delays. The overdrives are good but I don't think as good as your regular ones.

I put fave drive pedals in the fx loop, and assign the loop after fx1 but before fx 2,3,4... Its STILL a beast! Good to see these older vids of ya. Dont know why I wasnt subscribed, dont understand that. But re-subbed anyhoo. Best regards from the UK

I agree 100%. When I first got this I made some rhythm and lead scenes and while they sounded pretty sonic by themselves, when i played to music they lacked something. Then I picked up a TC Electronic Nove NDR-1 analog overdrive/distortion which I put into the effects loop along with my preamp, and the sucker absolutely screams!! I tried to match the drives of the M13 to the Nova but they sounded sterile and dull in comparison. Everything else about the M13 rocks, though!!
@ptrgriffin7511 жыл бұрын
wow you keep reviewing stuff I got... that's really cool. you have good taste. this m13 pedal is awesome it has everything. the distortion pedals are good because of the variety. the delays are the strongest point.

Well here I am years late to the party but the drives here are far more impressive than I would have thought. Of course I am guessing the 2 Rock plays a role there as well. Still better than I thought it would be from L6. Going to check out your other vids on this. I could see me using the verbs & delays but keeping my other drives to use with this. But,, damn some of them sounded pretty damn good.

he is running this M13 like it's baby brother Line 6 M5 with only one FX at a time. Many complain the M13 gets muddy real fast. Well.... ??? The M13 is four M5's daisyed one into the next if you want. Don't blame this on the M13.

I agree. When i had it to replace my board, i didnt like the drive sounds. but everything else is great

Shane, have you tried the M13 drives with the Bandit? I'm thinking about grabbing one of these. Thanks.

Listen. I love demos and appreciate them as much as the next man but WHY do most of them focus so much on doing scales? most of the time people are playing chords and riffs, not just soloing lol. I know you guys played chords too but the focus should always be chords and riffs and that goes for everyone doing amps/guitars/or pedal reviews

To true and not bloody blues/rock scales constantly, chords and arpeggios would’ve much more pleasing for a musician like myself in a 3 piece indie rock band who is lead singer and guitarist, so I have to play a mixed style of bits of lead and funky rock rhythm style which is more comprehensive f a real song anyway.

Hi guys! I would like to buy the M13, but I still don't get a thing: when in LATCH mode, the amount of "preset" is 12 or 48 (like the normal scene mode)? Thank you!
@flavioroloff10 жыл бұрын
If you have it updated the total amount of scenes is 48, but to change from the current 12 sets to the next you'll need to crouch and turn the knob.

+Flavio Roloff Thank you for the reply, Flavio! Sorry for the delay but I didn't get the notice. :) By the way I bought the M13...such a lovely piece of gear!
@flavioroloff9 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I thought about selling mine a few times to get the Pod 500x, but I'm still in love with the M13. I don't think I'll ever be able to sell it. lol
@asiam79 жыл бұрын
+Flavio Roloff You know what? Even if I'm not playing anymore, I don't think I'll sell it. I have a Fryette Ultra-Lead and I was planning to sell everything and take an Helix but...I think all will gonna end by keeping the M13 and buying a Fender Hot Rod Landau...those two together are a big winner! Maybe I will miss the higain stuff and the Fryette superb quality, but sometimes you just need to change your tools. Are you backing me?
@flavioroloff9 жыл бұрын
For sure! The M13 is very versatile and despise all the negative opinion people have about it's drives, I like how they sound. So I don't think you'll be missing the higain. :)
