Hauntingly good! You appeared to enjoy playing that piece as much as I did listening to it. So much soul 👌

Chuck in a bass, drums and at least one other instrument and those mini-humbuckers will be almost perfect. Of course (of course!) there's a place for full sized/PAF 'buckers, although they do need more tweaking in a mix to prevent them stepping on everything lower mid, but those minis are chef's kiss good. In KZbin world it's sometimes hard to remember that guitars, rock guitars, are an ensemble instrument. I constantly see videos of 'great tone' but I wince at how great that tone will be in a band context.

Be nice to actually hear a clean demo and maybe settings that are more common. You have that thing dimed, which lifts the noise floor and squashes the tone too much in my opinion. It's a great subtle compressor that thickens the low end while not destroying your tone or being noisy. That's why people like it. These extreme settings are better suited for a dyna comp or origin effects unit.

I got my Bandit and there are zero reason to ever get rid of it. Its just amazing. I couid buy a more expensive amp, but it would make me play better or sound that much better. And if i want a diffrent sound, i plug in a pedal.

For a bedroom player, what would you recommend buying - the 68 vibrio champ or this one? I don’t care if it’s not a tube amp :) I play mostly on clean and some crunch

Tone is in your finger. I have a strat deluxe plus from the 90’ with the exact same lace sensors (red, silver, blue) combination and it doesn’t sound at all like that. In fact, I really dislike the lace sensors as they sound very artificial for me.

The Fat setting on the clean channel reminds me more of a Bassman type sound. Really flexible amp being able to have a Deluxe Reverb and Bassman, and a nice overdrive channel as well.

I have 3 G&L USA made and 1 indo made… which got me back into guitar after 10 years and 3 kids….I keep looking for a USA fender Stratocaster but everything I pickup custom shop or otherwise feels nowhere the quality. USA G&L guitars seem to be the real custom shop guitars. Took awhile for me to like the headstock but now I do I cant justify buying anything else. I wish there was more KZbin demos of USA G&L…. Hope you find another one of those! Cheers Dan, Newcastle Australia.
