My favourite videos. I wish there were shops like that in my neighbourhood. I’d have to drive six hours to come anywhere close to a store like that.

That is the best guitar store I've ever seen; and then the Fenders OH MY!"word, and that Joe Bonamassa Firebird was sweet.." Get the Casino, love the light relic gibsons, as for the BFG (Black F%^N Guitar) Or something like that.. umm maybe the P90 one, but that store is excellent!" and tasty all in one shop and to have the right kind of variety is amazing!

I played the Gibson BFG and it looks and feels fantastic. However, the sound is a bit thin. ( I believe because it's chambered ) I ended up going with the Special in TV Yellow w/ 2 p90's and it not only feels like a custom shop, it sings and growls. I'm not even a Gibson fan but absolutely fell in love with the guitar within minutes of picking it up. The fat neck and 90's make it pure magic to play. The tuners/tuning is super stable as well. And the quality is top notch. Played 2 of them and they felt exactly the same. Not like many other LP's I have played in the past. Go Gibson!

Gonna be a great weekend starting off with GSS ! Love the Harley parking ! The Gibson area was awesome and I dig those BFG (Barely Finished Guitars) the first ones had a neck p-90 and a bridge humbucker and they offered it in a green tint that looked like an alligator but,I'd take a double p-90 one too ! Now that semi hollow collection was where I could live ! Great episode, thanks mate !

Re the head rush board, very easy to use, obvious;y not up to individual pedal standards but if you’ve used a katana then it’s fine. You can set this up at home pre set your play n plug and play really really easy, get one and play around with it you will not be disappointed.

Hey Shane, regarding that BFG (Barely Finished Guitar) by Gibson. I almost bought one of those a few weeks ago. I was looking for a P90 guitar and unless you want to pay a fortune for a Standard, they are pretty hard to come by. Even the Epi version called the Les Paul 1956 or 57 something like that, are all sold out over here. Then I saw your review on the Junior... I snagged one based on your recommendations, from Thomann. In the Blue Stain color. Well it arrived today. Did I really need one? No. But I am extremely glad I got it!! It has to be one of the most versatile guitars in the stable, which really doesnt make much sense to me, with only one hot single coil in the bridge, but that tone knob really works!! Do you absolutely NEED one? No Shane, but I guarantee you will love it! And for the price? Good grief!!! Great little guitar! As for the Casino you were drooling over, I don't know if they make it in a lefty or not. Just like this one... As a big blues player, if it were available in a lefty model, I would check it out. I bought one already and I'm waiting for it to arrive. www.andertons.co.uk/epiphone-ltd-ed-john-lee-hooker-100th-ann-zephyr-outfit-in-antique-natural Limited to only 1000 guitars worldwide. And this guitar hasn't been built since 64 I think. Only 250 something ever made. John Lee Hooker's favorite until he started playing the Sheraton model. But huge Epiphone fan his whole life. Bob in Germany

Amazing looking store. You could easily spend hours in there. I was particularly impressed with them putting a selection of lefty's together. Especially the ESP/LTD KH602, which is unusual as it's actually a signature model that's available left handed. Great video yet again.

For a beginner, I don't think it matters which one they choose. But I don't like the pointiness of the Pacifica. I'll always be partial to Squier though--the first electric I ever bought was a Squier Strat in 1986.

Shane, you’ve got it all wrong about the HeadRush. It is extremely easy to use and using it live is a dream. You can adjust the parameters and save them, all hands free. So glad I have one, made my life so much easier. Try it out!

@JimsGuitarGarage
@JimsGuitarGarage 5 жыл бұрын
intheblues , Yes. You simply hold down the switch assigned to the effect/amp for 2 seconds, the display changes to the parameters of that effect/ amp, you touch that parameter (drive for example) and you can adjust with the plus/minus switches or the volume/wah pedal. Then click save and exit. You can also assign parameters to the volume/wah pedal, and use it to adjust while you play.

Hi Shane, I've really enjoy Guitar Search Saturday, thanks for this latest instalment. I think I'd have preferred you hadn't sped things up though, I could do that myself if id wanted. That said I guess I could slow the playback down. Just a thought though. Thanks again for all you hard work. PS I'm going to China in September, Beijing and Shanghai, wondering if anyone can tell me if there are some good music stores in these cities?

If you are looking for video ideas, maybe do one on which guitars fit the look of different styles of music. The guy from Brooks & Dunn said he got strange looks playing a Les Paul with Country music. If someone went to a blues gig with a Randy Rhodes model guitar, how would that go over? I find the Telecaster is the most versatile guitar for looks

So, no girl? I sad now. It's been six years since I last saw one in a guitar store. Also you say Tube instead of Valve? I thought the Australians would use English terminology. Do all of you say tube when referring to Valve amps over there?

The gal in the thumbnail is in the video. :-) Yeah, when I used to just say "valve" and half the world doesn't know what I am talking about so I just succumbed to saying Tube because it saves me not having to reply in the comments.

You have my sympathy with you being a left handed player in a right handed world. I would hate to be missing out on all the great right handed guitars. I'm sure there are some great lefty guitars out there but not nearly enough as there should be. Honestly, i would teach myself to play right handed and tell no one and let the world assume i'm right handed so when the day comes to go toe to toe with another player and have my princess bride moment of "I am not left handed either" and then pull out my lefty guitar and then kick their butt.
