Hey Gina, I’m from the south, and love to cook for my family too I’ve prepared this dish many ways. I usually make a rue, with minced garlic to start, but I tried your cornstarch method, and can’t tell the difference. You sure can throw down in the kitchen. I bet your pots and pans are never cold. This was delicious. so I’m back cause I’m cooking this tomorrow 🤤😍 I had shrimp Alfredo from Applebee’s then few days later I cook this chicken Alfredo. Man this recipe beats Applebee’s and any other restaurant. I didn’t even use the parmigiano reggiano. I had Parmesan cheese from a bag. Half & half milk. & I still got a super delicious chicken Alfredo. 🤤🤗 Mrs. Gina you did it again !

I've always preferred white sauce as opposed to red. Definitely would've substituted shrimp instead of chicken (personal preference), but my goodness, Mrs. Young, that is one creamy looking plate of pasta! I love how the noodles weren't dry! Pure goodnesses!

Love this recipe, I will buy gluten free spaghetti and make this- corn starch is a easy swap for flour in gravies and sauces! Thank you Gina! We are going to do a bunch of crafting projects this weekend, after while our food is cooked, and we can relax. I teach my three Sunday school classes on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sunday afternoon we are going to take a long ride into the country, maybe find some nice antique shoppes to browse around; hope it going to be 🌞 going to take our Shih Tzu Romeo with us! Good morning Gina.🌷been years since I made chicken alfredo. Only difference I did was half my cooked pasta and added half as I blanched my broccoli for family members who had pain chewing harder broccoli. I did put in sometimes about a cup of finely chopped good ham, or home cooked bacon bits.(I'm a bit skeptical of bacon bits from store especially if you, are ones eating are having cancer, or other medical things, stomach,etc. suspected by drs.to many preservatives an adatives in bacon bits that are shelf usable for 5 years) So after adding that, try using a tiny bit of ground nutmeg. You my sweet, will be delightfully surprised. Hv a blessed day 🙏🌺
