I made buttermilk biscuits last week. Since I am the only person I eyeballed the flour that looked like about 1 cup and a fourth. I used Crisco, I didn't measure like my Mother. It made 4 reg biscuits and I placed baby rounds in the empty slots, using a small cast iron skillet I greased. My brother sent me some Broadbent's smoked sausage at Christmas, I had thawed it, so this was the winner! Strawberry jam or some honey butter is best. Apple butter if you have it. Just butter in a hot biscuit is perfect.

Gina I have a tip: put that stick of butter in the freezer along with your box grater for about 15 minutes. Then grate the butter stick into the flour and squeeze like you normally would. I like cheese on my biscuits 😋

Yasss hunni! I'm a biscuit girl. I make them monthly. Bc I bake a lot I have tons of butter in the freezer. I grate a frozen stick into the flour and toss with a fork. This is good with a diced jalapeno and sharp cheddar. Gina you do the thing in the kitchen!!
