For those who don't have time to click links in the description and just need the ingredients (in case you checking your fridge and realize you don't have buttermilk lol)here you go. 2 cups of self rising flour 1 stick of butter 1 cup of buttermilk FYI-You can also make buttermilk by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar to a cup of( your choice milk) let it sit for about 30 minutes . All purpose flour is ok if you add baking soda and baking powder to your mix depends on preference for dense or fluffy biscuits.

I went to culinary school and my instructor was essentially a master chef, not actually a certified master chef but Had all the requirements just didn’t want to take the time to go and get the certification. He taught me to make biscuits almost exactly this way, the only difference is i learned 3-2-1 so that’s 3 Cups flour 2 sticks butter 1 cup milk. But all the techniques were exactly as demonstrated here for the most part. The point is not all recipes have to be complicated to be amazing, 3 ingredients biscuits if made properly will be the best biscuits you’ve ever had I can almost guarantee it.

I can't thank you enough!! I made them yesterday and they turned out beautifully!! So light and fluffy and Delicious!! It's been 22 years since I even tried to make biscuits and they weren't very good or pretty but these were AWESOME!! I made some fried salmon patties to go on the side and used ALGA syrup and also some wild blueberry jam when I warmed them up for breakfast. Just had to say, "THANKS"!

Are you from AL? When I saw Alaga syrup, i had to ask. Alaga is what I grew up on. Love it

This is a simple as can be recipe for biscuits that have turned out amazing every single time for me. It’s the grating of the butter (I use salted) that makes it what it is! Do not skip or work around that step! I also use every bit of the dough, it’s too good to waste, that’s why I just cut them into odd shapes once it’s rolled out. So GOOD!

Great video. Biscuits looking good. Those 6 people who thumbs downed this video must be from the other channel "Divas Can't Cook" 😆

i've tried these..wonderful biscuits...one little extra tip i do, is i cook them in a cast iron skillet, and put melted butter on bottom of skillet before i put biscuits in to cook, this gives them a fantastic buttery taste on bottom of biscuit and it helps the bottoms to be golden brown too.

I am going to try this, only I don't have buttermilk, so I will be adding 1 T of apple cider vinegar to my cup of whole milk and placing that in the fridge to keep cold while I get going on the rest of the recipe. Those biscuits look amazing, I can't wait to try them out!

Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt if you want extra flavor in your biscuits.

Wonderful recipe!!! I tried it with my crew for breakfast. They wanted more for dinner. Biscuits were soft, fluffy, and buttery. Thumbs up!!
