4:10 The "One-Stick Horse" is a reference to one of Bdubs's "patented" techniques where he used items (sticks) flowing from a hopper as a timer to measure the speed of horses. Ironically, a one-stick horse would be a very fast horse according to this measurement technique, but Bdubs doesn't point out the mistake for the bit (or misses it completely)

I think BdoubleO inverted the system at some point, so that you check the system to see how many sticks are left, so a low stick horse is a slower horse? But it's been awhile since I seen that video

Right, It was in his previous season of Building with BDoubleO. He used his famous Redstone prowess to create a way to compare the speed of horses to count how many sticks an Etho hopper clock causes to be dispensed before the horses crosses a finish line tripwire. This is also why Grian names the wither in Secret Life "1 Stick Wither"

When it comes to canine interpretations of etho’s skin, I think it’s almost exclusively the arctic white fox he gets fused with. It could be tied to dog pack white fang kakashi lore, but I’m willing to bet it’s because he had a white fox as a pet in s7 and the white ears go well with the white hair. Also goes well with his personality/character

As an artist watching people analyze frames gives me unbelievable joy Because when you're animating something you just have to accept that 99% of people are not going to see the art, half the time people aren't even looking at the screen as they watch the video It's so nice to watch someone appreciate the amount of work that goes into people's animations Animating stuff is agony, major respect to the people that do it

a "one stick horse" comes from the way Bdubs measured horse speed in HC a while ago! In his method he used tripwires and sticks to measure the time per distance. A person underneath this comment pointed out that they accidentally switched it around in the session! I still measure my horse speed in sticks :D

1 stick would be the best. Bdubs forgot it in the moment. The more sticks meant the longer it took for the horse to cross between two tripewires. A hopper would have sticks passing into a chest only while the horse is crossing the distance between the tripewires. Therefore less sticks was a faster horse

Etho is often drawn as an arctic fox, probably because in s7 he had a arctic fox named side-kit, and also because people love giving Etho a wintery theme due to being Canadian! (I don't know why that one chatter said he was often depicted as a dog, because that's just not true lmao)

There's a nice little design tidbit that's in this animators designs, and that's the fact that everyone has three hearts in their design that fits them (for example Mumbo's buttons on his suit), and it shows how many lives they have left. Like seriously, you can see one of Joel's hearts is broken because he's a yellow life, and that's so awesome.

I need to ask- does cleo identify as non binary or something? Because I've noticed gem a Scott call cleo "they" but most people call her "her". Do most people not know she's non binary or something?

@@donttalktome2316 Yes, Cleo identifies as non-binary and uses She/They pronouns. They don't seem to mind when other creators use "she/her", but you'll notice that a lot of creators, especially those who know them well, or for whom sexual identity is a bigger part of their lives--such as Scott, and also Gem--tend to make an effort to use "they/them". As for whether or not most people "know", while they do tend to be pretty vocal about it on social media, it doesn't seem like they've gone out of their way to bring it up with other creators.

Grian's task was to be told by a yellow that his task was to sing. His goal as is shown in the animatic was to just fully commit to not seem suspicious.

For the part about the sticks, during a season of Hermitcraft, Bdubs set up a rough redstone system to time how fast his horses could run a small course so he could better gauge which was the fastest. Basically, the longer the horse took the more sticks would get transferred into a chest, so sticks is basically Bdubs' way of measuring the speed of horses, and the higher the stick number the worse the horse (although Bdubs has on several occasions forgotten the "high number = bad" element of his measuring system when referencing it after-the-fact, so him calling the horse a one-stick horse is meant to be a bad thing, even though in his original measuring system, one stick would have been insanely good to the point of being unrealistic).

An old horse speed test involved gathering sticks as you go, so a 1 stick horse was a very slow horse (or a very fast horse in the simpler version, but based on context, they were using an inverted test) whish is also where 1 Stick Wither got it's name.

Have you considered to watching the bigger life series animations by like Rusty Courage or Christrin. The ones with songs. I know they use copyrighted music, so it could be problematic, however it would just effect the one video. On the other hand, you could isntead react to them without the sound being recorded, which would be cool. Alternativly, you might have just chosen not to post such things here. Lol.
