It wasn’t until I was watching Jimmy’s reaction video that I realized that the reason Martyn betrays the agreement (in this video, with the lore that’s been added) is because, when Scott mentions Scar and Grian’s Third Life battle, it reminds Martyn that his first loyalty is to Ren, and that Scar and Grian were the Red King’s biggest rivals, and Impulse tried to play multiple sides, rather than being loyal to Dogwarts, and Scott was on the side of Monopoly Mountain.

Very true, and I like to see it as they represented the three factions of Third Life. Martyn was with Dogwarts, Scott was allied with the Desert Duo, while Impulse's true loyalty was to the Crastle. That mention of Third Life reminded Martyn that these players were his enemies then.

I can actually explain the Rendog cut! the shot was most likely created using the mod Flashback! Rendog is most likely rendered in the second shot once, and then again using a featuring in the Flashback mod where you can replace everything but the player with a green screen! Man I love how third life is tied into this. Impulse and Scott were both allied with the pizza alliance. They would consider Scar and Grian their forefathers and seek to recreate their fair fight. Martyn, harbinger of the red winter is reminded of his allegiances as Scott’s words echo in his head. Scar and Grian are not his forefathers, their ways should be shunned. Thus he strikes his enemies while they are weak, just as the watchers intended. Also pretty cool how the music from 3rd life as a song plays in the flashback.

I don't think anyone has noticed this, but this is the first song that doesn't reference the celestial symbol before the final conflict, probably because Martyn is the first to not have one accepted by the fandom as a whole (not even the one Martyn chose for himself). Instead we have this epic call back to Third Life, which is in my opinion, much better. I've found a thing that was done by another person where all of these are strung together one after another, and it's AMAZING. There's also 2 others that are total chaos one with all 4 being lined up to where the final deaths are at the same time, and the other to where all of Jimmy's final deaths line up at the same time...there's one other that i found that just cuts off each song at the point that Jimmy is out which is kind of funny, but it also just feels EXCEPTIONALLY incomplete...
