I've been a real fan of black hill and silent island for last years. And they never frustrate with their new albums. Such a magical atmosphere they create. So soothing. Listening to their masterpieces you easily appear in your small inner paradise, where only you and nature exist. So peaceful

During the first song, I heard children playing and laughing on a wintry day.. I could smell their clothes when they entered the cloak room. Then I saw a young couple, skating arm in arm on a pond, their breath coming out in slow puffs. The scene changed to an older man and woman, leaning on each other as they stood near the same pond. Here I pause to write down what I see, thinking about the fox trails- they're in the same area as in the beginning but it's very different- Overgrown with large and small trees , leafless under a blanket of snow. It's so quiet as I look on the foxes flashing their colors their eyes blinking back at me. As for the rest I see a forest devoid of life.. But the trees will bud again, the birds return to fill their branches.. ... Thank you Black Hill and In The Woods for the beautiful music.

That's the kind of music I'm listening to while working on some pencil drawings in the middle of the night, when everything around me is asleep. Just this music, the drawing and me, focussing on arts I produce and arts I perceive.

If I could somehow wear out a KZbin video by listening to it too often, I would've worn Tales of the Night Forest, Fall of Oceans, Stormvalley and Curse of Coleodeia all down to dust. You'd need a microscope to tell what they used to be. Now, on a freezing winter night, I see this EP show up on my feed, and what other choice do I have? I must gather my blankets, make some cocoa, and stay up late to listen to the whole thing. Thank you, István!

This album came out when my grandmother died......it still stings listening to this album, but in a bittersweet way. Not only did the winter theme match perfectly, as it was in February. But that beautiful, calm music. It really helped process...well, everything

Is this the perfection of guitar? Has it finally been achieved? I have heard the guitar do many things, even things similar to this, but surely this is a craftsman bringing the guitar to it's fullest potential.
