@@InTheWoodyard I could do all my wood to heat the house in a weekend inside of a month with one. We have a log splitter from Sears that's still going , father-in-law had to change the motor a few years ago but it works , I end up with a severe back ache after a few hours of running it.

Chris, great video. When you show from top lookin down towards the splitter, can the tray be positioned in up position whe cutting the round? It seems like it twist sideways sometimes when it drops to the splitter. Again, great video on the workings of your processor. TY for sharing. Dave D from Maine.

Yes it can, it is another step (to remember to do) that needs to be done and the larger longer rounds do tend to twist a bit and get caught on the way down.

Good question. Small stuff is not very fast or productive in the processor...8"and up is best. So the small and crooked nasty stuff is chain saw cut.

Eleven cords of wood is more than most people burn in a "heating season" even heating a larger home .....We burned wood in the house I grew up in (had a wood furnace in basement) and we would consistently burn about that much, sometimes a lot more if it was a l o n g winter........SE Montana. Gets cold over here and sometimes the snow gets fairly deep.

I use about 16-20 in Shenandoah valley of Va. outside boiler, 3500 sf ft. Solid brick walls. Hot water heat and domestic Hw. Mid oct to mid April !

No, I sell it for less. It goes directly into the trailer and delivered..no drying no touching, fast turn around from log to done and gone.
