In our church, we usually have short sermons before the vows are exchanged. And in all of the decades I have been attending church weddings, never heard a preacher explain marriage vows like that. Its like its no longer a happily ever after. Its a totally new thing, that includes death, and in the process of dying is where you'll get your ever after that will include the joy of the Lord that far exceeds the meagre 'happily' you were hoping for..

It was a blessing hearing this couple talk about how great their love life is. I hear so many married people complain about their sex lives, especially men. It was great hearing this man talk about how husbands should take the lead and responsibility of pleasing their wives sexuality. So refreshing, because even in church it is traditionally taught that the weight of sexual responsibility in a marriage is on the wife: please your husband, give him sex regardless of his behavior, attitude, and I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYONE teach how a husband should taking the responsibility and lead to please his wife.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I loved this! The way he's so affectionate with his wife after 20+ of marriage. I'm really glad to hear the topic of sex in a Christian marriage discussed so freely. I've always thought sex within a Christian marriage was repressive and boring.
@tylynn2563 жыл бұрын
I know right!!!!
@d.c.47063 жыл бұрын
It's not repressive OR boring. But it's definitely not a free-for-all just because you are married. I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast, but there were points when the Holy Spirit let me know they were off target. And interestingly enough, he "pastors". Oral sex is 10000% sodomy and not of God. It's an open door to the enemy that people don't want to close because their flesh thoroughly enjoys it. For so long I was in the dark about this truth, but I personally prayed about it and sought the Lord. His answer was a game changer. I will continue to intercede for those who are in need of God's truth on the matter. But this idea that just because folks are married they are free to do whatever in the bedroom with each other is an outright lie. Sex for married couples within the body of Christ is not repressive or boring. But it most definitely is not to be rooted in the same worldly, carnal, and lustful acts that can be found in the bedrooms of people who DON'T know God. LOL! Learning how to chew the meat and spit out the bones though. Overall this was a great podcast filled with awesome points to digest.

@@d.c.4706 if you're married and you're with your husband or wife God says be FRUITFUL that means have sex whatever form they choose to do it they are in conveant so oral sex is allowed when you're married now outside of it its dangerous...but God literally had Solomon write a very detail version of love making in the bible so that's your opinion ..but God does say do not deny your husband or spouse because that opens doors and nagging your husband or wife because that can cause an open door as well...

@@janderson947 God said be fruitful and MULTIPLY. Let's not chop and remix His word. In order to multiply, children would need to be born. And in order for children to be born, sperm would need to connect to an egg--which can only be done through actual intercourse. Oral sex is actually anti-multiplication and sodomy. Sodomy is anal or oral sex (regardless of sexual orientation). Folks have been doing it for so long and love doing it so much, that they can't even FATHOM or even begin to consider it is sinful and ungodly. If you die properly you won't be alone: that's the principle of marriage. So the capacity comes after the death... Adam died first... Jesus died first... If the man doesn't die first, the spirit/rib can't be taken to build the bride... What you deserve is directly proportional to your degree of death

Porn is used as a scapegoat to to distract away from the truth of the matter, and its that there is hierarchy of desire and desirability and most men do not have access to the top tier outside of porn in real life and the fact that monogamy is not natural. Men are hardwired to spread their seed wherever they can and women are not wired to facilitate that sex drive oir make up for lost opportunities 24/7. Getting rid of porn honestly would destroy more marriages then save them becasue the only way a lot of men can tolerate being with who they were able to get is to supplement and outsource digitally. This is not new. Porn has always been around, its just more accessible these days but when it was less accessible there were books, magazines, trinkets, and then the oldest profession , prostitution.

Oh my what her mother told her was so wise and such a beautiful example of mother wish. I wish I had thought of it but I will pass it on. It made me cry.

I’ve been bingeing on “The Basement w/ Tim Ross” & happened to see this podcast with the both of them & decided to watch. They are truly transparent & allowing God to use them for this time & season. This particular video podcast was soo enlightening in different areas. Though recorded a yr ago, it is still rich in content. Thank you sir, about to go watch more of your podcasts. So needed in these times where divorce rate is soo soo high. God bless you! 😊👏🏾🙏🏾💕

Excellent! This lady blessed me sharing and explaining what her mother so kindly taught her about her dad vs. her Heavenly Father. This was a really great interview for married people and single ones too.

Yop! Preach sister! Except a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone... So if they don't reckon themselves dead to sin and alive in Christ, they can't bond in marriage to you because then, they're alone and have no helper (Holy Spirit). God has to literally kill you before you can receive a mate. Adam was put in a deep sleep...AKA dead! He died! If you want someone you gotta die!

The extent your guests are LIT about their personal stories is a proof God sent you ....He's solidly behind you like He was with Moses
