It’s very sad to see the standard of Christianity deteriorate so much. This is due to biblical illiteracy and psychologised Christianity that doesn’t want to call out sin. We have one standard of truth and that is the Bible - we don’t get to define truth for ourselves.

But you do choose though. Slavery? Women being quite in church? Divorce? Stoning people to death? Wearing mixed fabrics? Women who are menstruating being unclean? Y'all ignore all of that but when it comes to queer people suddenly the Bible must be followed to the T.

May I ask. You not justify homosexuality as the result of being fatherless? I'm asking because there are people who grew up having both mother and father present, some of those people are pastors kids but they still turnout to be homosexual. And then we have a guy who grew without a father and had women in his upbringing but is heterosexual.

Please ,people must stop .Homosexuality is not God’s pattern and regardless of how many people support it ,it won't be okay in the Lord's eyes .1 Corinthians teaches us ,that we were like them but in the name of the lord Jesus, we were cleansed ,sanctified and justified.We are now of Christ and we cannot follow our old ways nor desires .The goal is Christ .I myself am from a life of homosexuality and wanted to take on this identity but the Spirit of God within me kept saying No .Until I gave up and accepted what the lord said about me .I am of Christ .People homosexuality is a lie and only Christ's love and power can help .I pray that as they continue being intimate with the Spirit of God He gives them wisdom and brings then to a place of a broken spirit .

I enjoyed this interview. It was good to hear Lungelo being interviewed, can listen to you the whole day... Big ups brothers. It's my first time on this platform, Ndumiso, you've gained a subscriber. My comment as a believer in Christ on your topic on queerness and other behaviours you mentioned as sin which can take a person to hell. According to the Bible, what can take (sin) a person to hell is rejection of Christ, not believing in Him, and not any other thing. Remember Christ's death was a substutionary death. The penalty/ wages of sin fell on Him. If behaviour can save someone, then Jesus would not have died. Again, as a born again believer, when you have believed in Christ, you need to be discipled. As you are discipled and taught God's word (where sound doctrine is taught, where the word is correctly divided). You will grow and learn of your identity in Christ and walk in it. The word you hear will renew your mind and leads to transformation. That's where even fornicators, liars, people with outbursts of anger, bitterness, etc can change through God's word. Lastly, a believer in Christ who's mature, transformed, rooted in the word will love everyone and speak the truth of God's word as it. We need not pick and choose what we want but embrace the word in its totality. Christianity is not about behaviour and morals but about Christ, who became man to die for men's sin. Oh, one last thing on divorce. Yes Jesus told the Pharisees that divorce did no exist in the beginning......and went on to say it is adultery when a spouse divorces and remarries while their spouse is still alive. He never said divorce is sin.

Such a diligent inspiring fellow 👏🏾. I inspired. On the matter of queerness, it was an L take. The bible is very clear on this, and if we make it a matter of "interpretation", then the bible doesn't say anything about anything. The bible is clear, it's a sin and it's immoral. And no, it doesn't mean we have to treat queer people poorly. We need to treat them with love and digniy, but never compromising truth. And also, one thing that was distasteful, was draging other people's struggles in defense of one struggle. It's not ok to defend one's sin by calling out other people's sins, God will not judge according to what other people have done.
@msawenkosilanga1379

If I can ask my Sir. Are you saying the bible should not be interpreted? Please explain...
@SamboNsovo
@SamboNsovo 17 күн бұрын
@@msawenkosilanga1379 No, I'm not saying that. Scriptures csn be explained and unpacked. I am saying what the writers wrote on this matter is clear. They are communicating something after all, and did so clearly. Their aim was for it to be read and understood. If we can read it any other way then the scriptures do not say anything. That's how we get heresies. Heresies wouldn't exist if everything is up to interpretation.
@msawenkosilanga1379
@msawenkosilanga1379 17 күн бұрын
@@SamboNsovo I'm sorry for sparring a kind of debate but what you see as clear may not be clear to everyone else and those people deem necessary to interpret that. There are many scriptures from Leviticus and other verses that we say we should interpret them with context not that they are not clear. It's like the scripture that seems to forbid women from being ministers. You don't decide what other people interpret, as long as thier interpretations are correct biblically. And this is not a a simple thing as you should love your neighbour as you love yourself, it has to do with realities of the people within the church, of a topic that is ever debated in church. In that way interpretations are valid.
@SamboNsovo
@SamboNsovo 17 күн бұрын
@@msawenkosilanga1379 Someone can make the same comment you are making about the "love your neighbor scripture". It's clear, but someone can say it's based on interpretation. You can interpret scripture in "that" way, but it would be an erroneous interpretation. That's why we have orthodoxy. If there was no right way to interpret scripture we can sign off all heresies as valid cause the bible is open for ALL interpretation. Scripture's correct position on homosexuality is that it's sinful. If we can say it's "based on how you interpret it" when it comes to homosexuality, then we can do the same for lying, murder, stealing, fornication, adultery etc etc. We know all of these are sin and we wouldn't dare say "well based on your interpretation". It's only when it comes to homosexuality that we want to have different interpretations to what is made as clear as the other vices.

I wish more "estranged" parents may learn from the example of Lungelo's dad - a tough journey but as parents we need to humble ourselves and allow our kids to lead the journey of mending and healing when we have failed them in any way irregardless of "the circumstances" that led to that.

With all due respect being gay/lesbian and Christian will be hard because it was never Gods original plan. God will always love us as sinners but he will not break his word too. Leviticus 20v13 the act of two men is seeing as detestable. We all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. If a murderer confesses the sin and leaves it then he is forgiven however a murderer cannot be accepted by God if he wants to continue being a Christian and a murderer too. Everything about is about purpose. God loves you incredibly however he will not accept that we choose to dishonor his word when he honours his word above his name. If this offends you I apologise it is not intended to do that.

Yona iyibeka ngokuphandle that “Queer” just like all other sins is not acceptable before God,we must look beyond the eyes of the people and listen to what God has to say about it.

To all those who are here quoting scripture, I really want to ask you, what do want gay people to do? Honestly, should they confess their gayness and ask God to change them? They have, still gay. Should they abstain from all sexual intimacy with the same sex? Okay, this is what I want to get to. Who does that please? God or man. If you say God, then I will challenge that. The true law is not one kept on the outside but one kept from within. If you look at a woman with lust, you have committed adultery in God's eyes. Therefore, simply staying away from sex is not fulfilling the law or any righteouness in God's eyes. He looks at the heart. I can abstain from sex but still be filled with all manners of lust and desire. Yes, you will congratulate me, but will God? The answer is No. We are saved by Grace, through faith, not of any works. That is the new covenant. What someone does after they reeceive Christ is between them and God. The Holy Spirit will work out their path, it is not for you and I to condemn and try to bring them back under law. For the strength of sin is the law. When you condemn people, you are not helping them get closer to God, no, you are rearming the devil and allowing darkness to take control. You have absolutely no right to judge. Pick out the log in your eyes before trying to remove the spec in your brother's. Our path is to lead people to Christ and offer guidance WHEN asked. We are not judges holding up the law. For those who are alive to Christ are dead from the law. Stop with your self-righteouness disguised as love. You do not love these people. You simply want to change them. That is not love, for love is never conditional. Stop with your hypocrisy. Let people experience the true love of God, and whether or not they change is NONE of your business.

Great interview! However I hear a contradiction in the convictions of his rightness with the life style he tries to assert as Holy and acceptable by God! That speaks a lot to anyone who is listening well more than the superficial expressions. Being the “masculine by design” shouldn’t be the escape route but being right by principles should. Christians love the queer community but it will be hate if they don’t tell you what will destroy you. ❤❤❤

Firstly you cannot be “queer” and Christian, that’s contradiction. God has clearly stated that homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of God & another thing is, if you know the lifestyle you’re living is sinful, you are no longer of God but of the World, God has said you cannot serve 2 masters you’re either hot or cold. You can only be a child of God when you deny your fleshy desires & lusts…& you walk in the Word & the spirit.
