If Kat mains go full AP build only when they have a good chance to win that means that full AP build has an inflated winrate on data sites like League of graphs.

this build is an anti azir/syndra/ahri/lysandra build, i had so much trouble with those guys in masters and as of now i rly was able to just keep up with them even when i was 0/2 bcuz of how much survivality i had AND ALSO THE HEALING PROWESS AND SCALING I GET from the rune and item, it is such a good way to utilize katarina's high mobility AND ON HIT ABILITY which rly gives u the grasp procs WHICH RLY SUPRISES THE ENEMY THAT THEY LOOK AT THEIR HEALTH AND REALIZE U ACTUALLY STILL DO FKIN DMG and u also heal. This build is very good but again u need to play off with ur team with this build, if ur team cannot do well in early game ur kind of fked, if u cant comeback late game, it is GONNA BE A BIT OF A LONG GAME but if u survive early game, u pretty much will be fine as long as u dont throw or fk around too much, oh yeah also this build can be used againts vex just to survive againts her as long as u know when to atk her (wait out her fear by letting her use her E and just find a window to shunpo to her or in a minion then follow up to e her again or basic atk just to get grasp proc, i did this for some matches and i think i did PRETTY DARN GOOD SURVIVING and getting grasp procs which is very important) great build over all, kind of decent build for beginners but u need to play katarina not like an assassin but like k'sante LMAO. (play around the minions when u have the bami's cinder just becareful of getting hit too much, and if u would need to walk away try and time ur dagger when the grasp is about to reset so u can have it active then just find an opening for a grasp proc or trades) rly having some troubles going ap or ad kat lately since i have to trade away my late game prowess when ad or when ap have to survive LANE HARD AND RLY PLAY MECHANICALLY
