U can use the Steel vengala paanai and the Bronze vengala paanai on a weekend. USE PITAMBARI OR RICE/ MAIDA FLOUR N VINEGAR COMBO OR PULI TO CLEAN THE VESSELS. U CAN USE THE URULI DAILY TO MAKE SAMBAAR, VATHA KUZHAMBHU OR KOOTU VERY CONVENIENTLY. TRANSFER TO ANOTHER VESSEL WITHIIN AN HOUR OF COOKING.

@@simplysuba put 3 plastic broad stationary clips for saadham vadika,that's how I've been doing for 30yrs,it will not fall provided the clips fit correctly,..u can leave it in the side of the sink to drain the kanji if u don't want it u can collect it for using...it can be used to wash hair with shikkai,or for cotton sari kanji podrathu or can drink it with a little salt and ghee for kids, it's nutritious

Actually, Ancient Vellodu Uruli from TamilNadu have become extinct. And Zishta is trying very hard to bring back those traditions to the future generations. The heavy Uruli & Vengala panai, u can prepare sweets like sakkarai pongal, payasam etc, and Arisi Upma with its crunchiness would taste heavenly.
