@@_chadrose KZbin's entire subtitle contribution feature is now gone. It was planned to be deleted "after September 28th" 2020, and sure enough it was deleted on September 29-30 (depending on your time zone). It's not so sad, because it never worked well anyway. Most uploaders never enabled contributions (and LamazeP only enabled it once accidentally for Spam Jack). KZbin never bothered to notify channel owners about arriving subtitles, so most channel owners never noticed any subtitles. (LamazeP eventually noticed a debate in the comments to Spam Jack why he never noticed the subtitles, so the debate was needed for him to notice the subtitles). Anyway, I happen to know one of LamazeP's email addresses! On September 14th I send him a real old-school 1990s style E-mail. And it is indeed possible to attach various file types (including obnoxious exe files) as attachments to emails. So I attached two srt subtitle files as attachments to his email, containing the English and Romaji subtitles respectively. Conclusion: My own subtitle contribution method via email is completely independent from KZbin's now deleted contribution feature.
