Ariel is SUPER situational imo, and I don’t think it’ll see much play. Especially because it gets bounced by cloud-kicker. A- is super generous. Billy Bones being a pirate is relevant. He’s better Maui with Jolly Rodger up. Not consistent enough to see play over Maui imo, but worth considering

Bones is really good. Even if you have to wait a turn. And he's inkable.

@@TurtleDude05 Biggest issue is still competing with Maui imo. Outside of the pirate deck I’d never play him over Maui, especially now with Along Came Zeus.

I don't see playing both. That's a really big opportunity cost if you ask me. If you're playing Bones, then what are you NOT playing is the question I'd ask. Again, this is outside of a pirate theme deck we're talking about.

@hobbiesnhappiness Well specifically a pirate deck would. But I would also say a challenger deck would as well. With Kahn and Queen of Hearts to gain benefit from taking out your opponents board. I don't know that it would be a great deck. But I could see someone running 2× in a deck like that. With that being said. I think there is also a world where you run Bones in a budget decks where you can't afford Maui. Or you need a little more flexibility. Although I actually think Card Soldiers could fill a roll like that as well.

Play Jim hawkins then play RLS Legacy for free. Then move Jim there for free and now it’s only 1 ink to move. That’s not a bad play

Lorcana is my first tcg. I really enjoy listening to yall talk about every card. Its helped me understand how to read the cards and think about them in a different way. So im all for this kind of content, but i really do miss watching Dan struggle while he attempts to banish the almighty Jim lol. I hope yall arent working to hard. i only watched a couple minutes and skipped around but i saw you gave captain hook a B plus and Jim Hawkins a B. Jim Hawkins is by far the better card in every way possible
