INTO THE MINE. Gauge 1 pilot crash recreation

After a a few weeks, this mini project is finally finished! I am so grateful for the team that helped me make this small production and make it presentable to you guys!
Some parts of the footage might be rough because the sky in most shots is edited in. If I make a full production better stuff will be made to make it as good as possible!

Dude, do you know how much this is all gonna cost and how much time this stuff takes? It ain’t cheap and it ain’t easy. Y’all are lucky you got this to begin with. It took me almost a whole month and many hours of work just to get this production done and it’ll probably take maybe a year or so to plan and film a whole episode. I just can’t make a whole pilot plus it ain’t a race to see who’s comes first.its the quality of what you make that matters.

Plus I had a whole team working with me, research, sfx, music composers, and editors. That takes time too. And the making of 1:32 SCALE MODELS. They are pretty big and take a lot of time and patience to get something just right, even on a reduced budget. It is messy, frustrating and time consuming. Mind I add the time it takes to make the engines, rolling stock, and other miniatures. It takes a hell of a lot of precision to paint every figure accurately and make every building to how you need it. Also the people working on music, they are really talented people who I’ve seen make some really good stuff! They put so much effort into the music composition for my video out of their own good will. The editors like Thomas Fan put some real effort into making everything is presentable and even more! Even though I had to edit some stuff that was a bit poor but they did so much good it outweighed the poor quality of some of my edits. Plus my friend Fred took time out of his life so he could narrate for the recreation and he did spectacular! I cannot describe the level of respect I have for each member of my team and how much effort it takes from everyone to make a good product. It took around a month and many hours work to get 2 MINUTES of footage. So be mindful when telling me/ asking for a whole episode when y’all don’t know half of what goes on behind the scenes for a good video and making a competition to see who makes a video first without considering the effort, time and quality that goes into something like this.

You might want to do a compare film of the original Thomas model and Pilot Thomas model unless - which you won't be interested - it's a story of when Thomas meets his pilot self. I heard tell that Flying Fish Productions talked on the Pilot Thomas and Gordon models being O Gauge where as yours are Gauge 1 basically for the eye mechs.

@@TheNewStoryteller you only heard 1 source though, I’ve been though a few talks with a bunch of people who’ve done countless research on the show. There was an o gauge pilot yes, but from what I remember of the conversation it was only filmed very little or scrapped before filming. Then they switched to gauge 1 where you’ve seen probably seen the footage of Thomas passing knapford and the pictures of pilot Gordon.

Do you mind if I ask how you made the sinking mechanism in the mine?

@@CC-uc2cl a box with sand on it and a latch on the bottom to release sand, in under the set and release the latch until Thomas is at the correct level of sinking then I close the latch.
