@@heruhcanedeanwdym hope isn’t the currency it’s the 3rd bar from the left. It’s the equivalent of sanity in other games. Money is still the currency. And the blue orbs are like the skill points.

@@MotionlessApathy the game made a sort of point that hope was a currency, the blue orbs are called "hope stones" and theyre needed to unlock and progress, so theyre the currency of progression. I think the guy was just making a joke about how the game says you cant enter the necrovale until you give up all hope

Also I think the big problem with showing everything is not only making it seem like it's a super grindy game (which it might be), but it also overwhelms you when you're still trying to get your bearings I much prefer when a game shows me something unattainable, like a big door that requires 500 of a resource I have very little of, so it gives me an overall objective to work towards, but then slowly gives me other stuff to spend my resources on

There IS technically something if you somehow manage to survive turning around and/or killing them… but… good bloody luck. I spent like 4 days of gaming attempting it and at my best i took one down.

gonna do the things i like and dislike like i did in the other video because why not i like to type majority of what ive seen so far i enjoy looks like a big map with a lotta unlocks and probably secrets too different paths and probably deadly bosses and just a touch of extraction to jump start a run while also having increasingly more rewarding dungeons with the same increasingly dangerous difficulty to pair along now the grind is definitely one of the things i don't like and its not even because its grindy its because of the obtainment if hopestones being abyssmal outside of the harlot there doesnt seem to be anyway to obtain hopestones besides beating the dungeons and sure they do increase by one every level of dungeon but it just doesnt seem like its a fast enough progression, especially since things you buy might sometimes also need upgrades and if it works like dead cells, if you die without spending youre gonna be doing it all over again but maybe it isnt bad considering this is only 40 minutes of playtime outside of that the other thing i dont really like is the hope mechanic i havent seen enough as this is only 40 minutes but it doesnt seem like theres enough benefits for draining hope for it to be a big enough risk reward maybe there's crazy hope things in the game that would really make you wonder if getting despair for this thing is worth the risk or not but for now ill just stretch and say its underused definetly a good looking game i might check out myself

So I absolutely love games like this. But I can't reccomend this one. It needs SERIOUS balancing work. There's literally only 2 truly viable weapons for later in the game. Enemies get so punishing that the vast majority of the time, you will die before even do half damage to one mob. There's other similar issues to this. Needs work
