This game truly feels like a combination of everything right about the FNAF games it’s got the scares, the atmosphere, some of the classic FNAF humour, and most importantly a metric FUCK TON of easter eggs and references to every corner of the franchise all rolled together into a perfect stylised high quality package

One of the things I love about Into the Pit, and FNAF as a whole, is how well it tackles bleakness. Oswald lives in a town after all his friends have left him, his dad repeatedly drags him to a rundown pizza place because "beats sitting at home all day!" while wrestling the guilt that he can't do better for his son. We the audience know he's gonna make it out, but he has no idea if he'll see his father after the incident, no matter how hard he searches for him. Oswald's armed with not only the fear of the VERY REAL POSSIBILITY his father'll be dead when (IF) he finds him, but the hope and kindness to help others on the way there, making sure nobody dies the same way, even if HE eventually does. I'd argue that Into the Pit exudes despair to a level not seen ANYWHERE else in the series since tension doesn't stay at the pizzeria; it's always present and it's always a threat to you or someone you love (if you consider Oswald's mother). Truly exceptional work.

As someone who didn't particularly care for the frights stories, I absolutely loved the Into the Pit game. The visual style is really unique and feels like a love letter to the entire FNAF series. (Also I liked Pokemon Brilliant Diamond mostly because I couldn't afford the original but I enjoyed the challenge of it.)

20:47 Have you ever seen that episode of Steven Universe where his mother's room recreates the entire town? As soon as I saw Oswald in that ending where he leaves the pizzeria, I actually thought he was Steven (you can't tell me he doesn't look like him 💀) so my immediate thought was "maybe it recreated the entire surrounding area?" What if, after leaving, Oswald just starts to encounter super uncanny people who start to glitch out, and cars that just drive in loops.

I love how this game feels like more of a follow up to fnaf 6 then the last few games since it felt like Henry’s words meant something like for instance *this place will not be remembered and the memory will family begin to fade away* we kinda get to see the aftermath nobody knows what. Freddy Fazbears the old Town that Oswald lived aka the town the entire fnaf Hexalogy took place in feels like it’s becoming a forgotten town like even though this game is a adaptation of the fazbear fright story into the pit for no reason it feels more like fnaf 8 in a good way

It's also more because *nobody* talks about it, and the location's been Painted Over :V When you ask Jeff what was here BEFORE Jeff's Pizza, he goes silent for a bit, before asking you how much you'd want to never ask that question again.

One problem I have with yellow rabbit being the same suit afton used in the MCI, is that it makes it that the springtrap suit is just a spare suit It doesn’t provide any narrative satisfaction when it comes to irony of Afton death if this theory is correct
@liliespetals192 ай бұрын
The only evidence I'd say for loop theory is that if you leave the pizzeria, Oswald wont leave again after you get that ending. Something about remembering what happened, maybe? Idk its early 😅

Good theories mate, i personally don't believe frights reboot though and hers why. Into The Pit can work with supporting Stitchline games, this is because the Frights and Tales books are in game books in the FNAF Universe. This theory is based off of what Scott and the autors said about the canonisity of the books. They said they were stories "directly connected" and the Tales books were said to take place within the Game Universe. What if this is literal. Think about it, HW tells us the original games were games in the FNAF universe to cover up the past so whats stopping Fazbear Entertainment from making books poking fun at the stories. There are freaking arcade machines with Frights characters on them for crying out loud. But obviously, just like the original games, they are more or less real events in the FNAF Universe. So I feel the basic understanding is that if Stitchline is confirmed by Into the Pit then the relevant Frights stories (the Stitchwraith Stingers and all relevent stories) need to be explained and i think i got it. *Into the Pit* has no evidence for being after FNAF 6 nor does some of the other Frights stories (not all, just some as stories like *Man in Room 1280* must take place after FNAF 6. Sure it's implied but the stories that are basically the origin of Stritchwraith itself ( like *Fetch* and *The Real Jake* for example) have no concrete set date to happen. Theres nothing stopping some of the stories to take place long before the Stitchwraith. Ones like Out of Stock, *1:35 A.M.* and *Step closer* obviously all happen after Stitchwraith as we know they collected the pieces of the animatronics and stuff. But the stuff like Eleanor creating the Plushtrap chaser (which we know that it existed for a while since people repeatedly kept sending it back to the store) and terrorising people in *1:35 am* , *Step Closer* , *Blackbird* and *Hide-and-Seek* don't need to be around the same time as Stitchwraith. I'm just saying there can be time jumps in between stories. Like: *Room for one more* obviously takes place before Sister Location which has SnackSpace from *Into the Pit* mentioned in it *Prankster* has Glitchtrap in it so its after Help Wanted was in development. *What We Found* is basically a retelling of FNAF 3 *Room 1280* says William has been there for a long while after FNAF 6, all these are years apart from eachother so stories can happen at any point in the canon. So *Into the Pit* ,*Fetch* , *The Real Jake* and all the stories where Eleanor was involved with creating things like *To Be Beautiful* can happen years before FNAF 6. Eleanor and the Stitchwraith can do there own thing for a long while from when they are created And then the stories like *Room 1280* and everything we know the Stitchwraith is connected with can happen after FNAF 6. If Into the Pit is indeed canon to the games then it can make sense when you consider there is a gap in time between the stories. This explains how and why we see *Fetch* , *To Be Beautiful* and *Count the Ways* can be in the game, because they happen before Oswald goes in the pit. *Here's addressing some possible contradictions:* The Easter eggs are not canon as the developers said and the Stitchwraith can appear in Oswald's window because they do exist at that time. I know you guys will say no because Andrew went into Fetch after William exploded in the factory but his spirit was split across many things when that happened and nothing really says Andrew was in Fetch during *Fetch* and could easily of latched to Fetch as it would of had agony from being beaten up like what happened to the Mimic. Fetch can just be a faulty product, it may be a lame answer but not everything can be great (Fazgoo and Springtrap pregnancy anyone). Eleanor is still a mystery but if she is indeed and agony creature created after either Elizabeth’s death, the agony collected from the kids William experiments with in his bunker (my personal belief) or just is Shadow Freddy like people have theorised before, nothing is stopping her from existing for a long time until we see her in the Stitchwraith stingers. What do you all think?

I very much doubt the canonicity of this game tbh. It’s definitely weirder than most stuff we’ve seen in the games in terms of supernatural stuff and is based on Fazbear Frights (which would ALSO have strange implications on the canon). It’s also not by Steel Wool which may be relevant. Things would be way easier if Scott just told us what was canon
@ystacalden2 ай бұрын
It's all canon, they just don't overlap in continuity. Canon means "verified as being from the author/allowed by the author" and stems from which Books of the Bible were the Word of God ie canon and which were not . All FNAF games and books and movies are canon, and all Fanverse initiatives are canon, They just take place in alternate continuities. Sometimes they overlap like MCI 1985 being in multiple continuities and sometimes they don't MCI victims having different names across books, movie and games.

I want to think that the creators went for a fnaf 4 approach with yellow rabbit. It's a person in a suit, but since we play as Oswald, who is a child sees it as a monster
@tom11822 ай бұрын
Not really, in the books it is strongly implied that what Oswald faced was LITERALLY a monster (I won't go into further detail so as not to spoil possible future games)

Okay hold on. Something that confuses me is the distinction with the rabbits in the advanced difficulty settings. Freddy and Chica are given their names, and the rabbits are specifically labeled with their colors. We have Yellow Rabbit (Which makes sense) and Blue Bonnie. Why Blue Bonnie specifically?

>It proves it is not cannon the books are never cannon Objectively Canon. There has never been a debate of if it's Canon, only if it's in the same Continuity. Scott himself outlined this pretty clearly. The Books, Games, and Movie are ALL Canon, but only the Games at least are the Main Timeline.
