21:18 Those flares can be a godsend, at least at night. Visual conditions deteriorate to near non-existence once the sun goes down, the light from the radius itself will not do you much good and any active flashlight makes you a beacon to radius entities. However, firing a flare into the sky above you provides ample light without giving away your position. I always try to have one or two on me in case a run goes into the night.

8:55 That is a regen artefact, those are annoyingly rare. Honestly I would recommend you keep a few of those in your bag or in your rooms stockpile. Unlike medical injectors, regen artifacts can heal a lot more, plus it is selective so you can just stop using it once you have healed enough.

+P is better than AP. Slightly lower chance of penetration, but alot more damage dealt when it does.

12:19 That enemy and it's phantom counterpart have their weak spot on the chest. Headshots do headshot things on everyone else. Also another obscure tip. anything you ever touch will never despawn in the radius. barring things like smoking cigarettes. you can use this to grab mass amounts of loot during runs and leave designated spots in areas where you can either restock, or leave supplies to grab on another run.

@@Kurama126 No, almost every item in the game will never despawn once you have personally touched it. Even if you leave that loot out in the radius. Exceptions are things like burning cigs and quest items. Hoard to your hearts content.

Two mabe usefull tips 1. The enemy can hear your gun from far away so if you take a shot you might got to prepare to deal with the guests. 2. You can listen the audio tapes on the thing that has the map and opiectives

This has got to be one of the most immersive games out there. Like you said, everything takes time. It's slow, but it's so atmospheric. I love it. Next time, before you clean your run, have it go into the yellow. Then when you clean it, you actually have to use WD-40 and a toothbrush to clean the mug off of your weapon first. It's very satisfying.

Don't know if you need more tips, but the description of objects (get it by holding a button while holding the object (don't remember what button)) helps a lot, especially with anomalies! Glad you're playin my favorite vr game! Oh also, ITR has a very active discord with mods, tips, fan-made journals, etc. Highly recommend joining!

I noticed in the settings menu under controls I think it was there is a way to change the pitch of your gun. I set mine to like negative 4 and it helped line the sights up better for me. There's also smg and machine gun guys too. They can be a pain

Custom game is the fucking chefs kiss man. Also I'd suggest making sure to pick up the missions to raise your security level as soon as they're available. Also if you buy attachments make sure you upgrade the weapon first so you can actually put on said attachment

Hey wolf, you might want to check out STALKER if you haven’t already. It’s not a VR game series so I don’t expect to see it on your channel but you’ll find it very familiar after playing this game, there’s definitely many differences like the fact that your not alone in that game but the overall concept of a zone that has unknown anomalies and artifacts that do strange thing is the same.

idk how long you will be playing this but, few things you are missing/leaving alot of items. remember, stuff sells. just look around more until you find what you can and cannot pick up. full up your weight limit on trips out if u can artifacts, some heal u, give you other boosts, worth saving. sometimes just sell tho for sure the ticking noise means a artifacts or crystal thing (forget what they are called) is close. look around and use your scanner, they sell WELL and are requested for a bunch of quests (at least they were back in 1.0)

For the knife throwing, sometimes in VR games you need to train yourself to release lower, it’s natural human instinct when throwing to release based on the weight of the object. However, in vr, the only weight you feel is the controller, a knife is lighter than that in vr so you automatically release a lot higher than you should. Train throwing in vr like you’re throwing something the weight of darts rather than relying on the weight of the controller itself.
