This is very realistic. Makes one wonder if a highly maneuverable spaceship could navigate the rings.

I reckon it could. Relative to each other the ring particles are moving slowly, or hardly at all. It would still be risky though.

Hey Mark, have you ever looked at Saturn and its rings through a telescope? I've been to Sydney Observatory several times since 2010 and have seen Saturn, its rings and some of its moons. If you make another animation, could you make an animation of the newly discovered Earth-like planets orbiting the ultra-cool dwarf star TRAPPIST-1?

Yes, I've seen a few planets through a telescope, including Saturn. A Trappist-1 animation is on my to-do list. :-) Thanks for commenting.

Nice. Your "The Expanding Universe (Essential Science)" book is "out of stock" when I click the "buy now" on MarkGarlick.com. How may I buy? I live in Serbia so hope there is shipping available to my country. Keep up the good work :)

It's been out of print for years, so I'm not surprised. Here is a copy on Ebay: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Expanding-Universe-Essential-Science-By-Mark-A-Garlick-/291646192315?hash=item43e777babb:g:vTgAAOSw~otWfHpH
