This is so awesome for us veteran players. Because it is a completely new map. The 2.7 maps all got expansions, but we had familiar territory to fall back on. This map is going to be so fun to explore! (Everyone should try exploring the the north western part of the map on your own(no mate), but for the LOVE OF LIFE, do NOT howl past the park boundaries).

I can't wait for the pups to grow up into yearlings and help with the new litter of pups and the hunting I just hope we will be able to see their health bars like we can with our mates and newborn pups I also hope we will see other baby animals like foxes, cougars, bison, and other wolf pups from rival packs that would also be amazing I love this game to much it not only give you knowledge about everything but it gives you experience as to what it's like living life as a wild wolf and what they have to go through everyday.😄I hope we are still able to play as the pups like we can now.

The red bushes are huckleberries, along trails you can snack on them, they're really good! Also I have hiked Slough Creek before. Back home (I'm at college rn) I live about 2 hours away from Yellowstone. My dad and I hiked Slough Creek last summer, we hiked about 7 miles back and stayed the night, we camped right before 'gravel fan' on the WQ map. It was so beautiful, but wayyy too many mosquitos. Around 4am I woke up and heard probs 4-6 wolves howling, it was really cool and the sunrise was beautiful.

In my experience with Hellroaring Mountain herds, it feels like the elk in this valley are more... Spicy ✨🔥 😂 That bull was taking his job very seriously!! My poor wolf had his teeth kicked in by that herd that loads in by spawn.

I did see in the patch notes that they changed a few things about elk recently, most relevantly: they now do more damage when they have high stamina (but less when they're tired). So that might explain why your poor wolf had a bad time.

@@gayrurumon The thing is, it's always been like that. And these guys were standing still. They refused to go anywhere! 😭 They were like "You're trying to eat us? Okay, we're evicting you from your mortal body." And then got stun locked by like six elk 🫢😂

I bought this map as soon as I saw it. A lot of the achievements for it are with your mate" types so it may be good to get a mate for Lark and then explore more after that before moving on if you haven't already gotten them. Also my wolf died so many times already because I couldn't find elk herds except outside the boundary(especially the special one). So much death.

8:33 Males tend to disperse out, while females stay in their natal packs. With this update, you find more male dispersals interested in courtship and more females interested in courtship in their packs. (I saw devblogs of this, i’m assuming this is how the dev said it as lol)

My favorite places (so far) in this map have to be the convergence of the two rivers and the Enchanted Forest area. The lighting changes there to a warmer tone and the sun gets brighter. It feels like a magical forest and I love it. There's a den there too.

I did dlc preview with my mate Rose (from the Junction Butte pack in Slough Creek) and absolutely cheated. The game put me to winter, as expected, so i claimed the hex i started in then left. Theres no fun doing dlc preview if your doing territory, though, lol. New mate it is!

Hey also can I have some help because I am really bad at this! So I need some tips to help my pup in wolfquest to get better from being sick and if anymore get sick they might die and I only have 3 girls and 4 boys that’s 7 pups! If you even know what to do if your pups are sick because I don’t know I well I know kinda what to do like be by the pup and try not to sleep?!
