Honestly, I feel like "Exdeath" is one of those mistranslations that just stuck for some reason, because I'm fairly certain the intended name was "Exodus." So if they could correct "Aeris" to "Aerith," I think this should've followed suit. Guess it's just too late for that now.

The Blue Mage abilities are really OP in the game. You want to get Aqua Rake, Lv. 5 Doom, Lv. 4 Flare, etc. They also make certain boss fights WAY easier.

Looks like they easy up the Sandworm Boss. By me in the Original he was always switch beetwen the Holes. I must learn Aqua Breath. That do over 4000 Damage to him. You get a important Infomation at 25:45. ;)

So this boss had a funny sort of infamy. One of the common challenge of runs for FFV is the Four Job Fiesta, wherein the rules boil down to you getting one new job from each Crystal set, and for the rest of the game you have to have at least one character in that job and can use no others. However, one of the common BONUS challenges to that is Berserker Risk, which adds an extra roll each job to replace that job with Berserker. Because they’re uncontrollable, the Berserkers will tend to attack the empty holes, and you’ll die from the counters long before they string enough hits together to kill the Sandworm. So this nothing boss that’s a lesson in avoiding counters from bosses becomes this massive wall if you get stuck with too many Berserkers and it makes challenges hell. It’s funny in a really horrible way.
