I remember when I first started watching machinima I found Oxhorn. He may have even been the first ever machinimator I watched. Since then I've gotten into the hobby myself; mindlessly passing the hours in After Effects and Vegas to tell stories. I remember the first time I got featured on Wegame because Oxhorn selected one of my first videos to show. Since then, and since the first video I saw of his, I've always been inspired by Oxhorn's work. So long, partner. Good trails to you.

I should’ve said this years ago, but thanks Ox. You, Nyhm and Cranius got me through so much. So many times, guild conversations would turn to when one of your three were uploading a video next. While I’m sad you’ve long pulled the plug on the movies, I’m also happy that you branched out before your content could become stale. Spoiler alert: none of your vids came even close to that. I only lament I never took the time to have more then just the one convo with you in game. But then again, I spent a lot of time with Zulgazarg in the Barrens murderizing alliance.

I came back years later to see who all still made the old machinama. You were, and will always be, one of the icons of an era of WoW, Oxhorn. And I hope you still see these messages on the channel. The game has changed, and the fanbase is ripped over for the better or worse, but the game changing can't take away what that period of gaming and culture around it meant to us at the time, or the memories of what each of us consider the highpoints of the game, and the culture around the game we love, or once loved. And not even gonna pretend I won't be humming some of the tunes along the way for years to come XD Now I'm gonna go back to my old nestalgia trip dig through old content, for old times sake. I, like a lot of people, have had /way/ too much time on my hands lately.
