This heartbreaking song was utterly ruined by whatever-the-fook was on Jack's head....between the wig and the hat, just a whoooole lotta nope...poor guy....and why did it feel like it was gonna turn into a love song between the Baker and Jack? Why did they have to be practically on top of each other? Belly to belly....lol

Boggess as Cinderella here and the Baker are flat with no legato. Boggess breathy warbly short phrased and singing the wrong notes in this very tricky show gets away with murder. Sadly she sounds incredibly messy here and has been flailing for years beaming her way out of it. Also the direction was just awful with " Jack, your mother's dead" delivered like a a box at your door. Absurd. The audience was laughing in the wrong places as well. A tough show not for silly performers. The Red Riding Hood was incredible in this production however.
