Your English was pretty broken six years ago, I'm sort of curious how it's advanced. If you reply, that is.

Um, smoke first and then lift down, its the 101 of stage effects PSU, get it together, plus all your strobe effect is wasted in the grid, use directional next time.

I was thinking this exact thing. I saw "The Adding Machine" at that same theatre in Penn State circa 1986, and they did exactly as you said: carpeted the floor with a few inches of fog, and the lead character (standing on the small square elevator) disappeared into the floor. Very cool in performance.

Yes but those are operated manually while these are automated.

So since you seem to want to slam their production, let a retired professional stage hand with 50 years of experience - including Broadway (some place you will never work unless you are an usher) say DUH FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and one historical FACT that you clearly don't know - traps have been around since the Greeks used them starting sometime around the 8th century BC - have someone explain to you that is way longer than 100 years. Stick to operating the remote control for your tv and standing in line for a ticket.

A stage trap is a stage trap. They still work on a counter balance system.@@NairAthul
