It should be mentioned that the addition of the tape came on a suggestion from one of you! Also the MRE used today was 12 years old and extremely delicious. Lastly I really appreciate your kind words and support. Too bad I cant share the sweet smell of Birch smoke with you!

The Firefly steels are great! There’s a hidden tool slot opposite end to tweezers that you can open up to keep your toothpick!

I just acquired my first Ranger 91mm, and I have to say; why did I not get this SAK much sooner! I can't believe that it has a tool for every slot on the top and bottom. I have been such a pompous D--k saying "oh I have to carry the Swiss Champ, because of the tool selection", yet the Ranger is only missing the Magnifying Glass, Phillips screwdriver, Fish Scaler and pliers. These four tools are probably the least used tools on my Swiss Champ, and yet the Ranger is WAY MORE svelte to carry in the pocket. Thank you Johnny, I am now carrying a Ranger!

Great to hear Bill! Consider adding plus scales and a fire stick. The Ranger is by far my favorite. Great comment Bill!

Cool video. I'm diggin' the Vic Ranger lately. (Got four of 'em now.) Nice Casio world timer! I've got the black one on an O.D. green nato strap. Thanks for the educational, and enjoyable content!

That was really cool, I own a ranger amongst mostly all of the newer models, I do find some come from the factory not sharpened properly and on one side more than the other, I've recently learned stropping and sharpening more professionally nowadays. Thank you.

The Johnny Juke Channel I learned this from a friend of mine who was a medic in Afghanistan on the Battlefield about 6 or 7 years ago. Now every pack I own has duct tape or gorilla tape wrapped around it. It’s comes in handy so many times even with fellow hikers and campers who asked for it. You have fire and duct tape in one small package for different uses. Great video

Don't burn twigs that have moss growing on them if you can burn twigs that don't have moss growing on them especially if getting a fire going is critical to your survival. Even moss requires water to grow and... you can figure out the rest.

I stopped watching at 3:20. When people start to baton a SAK/pocket knife then I'm off.
@corbenj2 ай бұрын
It works really well if you do it the way he did it. I’ve done loads of batoning with my Ranger like that. Another way I do it is to start the baton with the saw and then wedge it.
