Just reading about this in the Medved’s book “The Hollywood Hall of Shame” where it states it created the Hollywood bomb, likely led to director to alcoholism, caused hundred of injuries when its hired-from-skid-row extras got a bit too into the battle scenes and wasted money on an epic scale, with the orgy scene alone having double the budget of ‘Birth of a Nation’…..oh well, at least it’s finding it’s audience now!

I disagree. Even more than a century later, with everything going on in the world right now, I believe “Intolerance” (1916) is as relevant today and says a lot about today as it did in 1916. “Intolerance” is one of my favorite films. It’s a shame more people don’t know about this movie.
