$29.00 USD! honestly dude, I reckon you're asking a bit much, like, it's a outstanding mod and all, but $29.00! that is some insane pricing ... I could guarantee if you made it cheaper, you would make more $ from simply more sales, there is no way I could ever justify spending that much on such a mod, though for half this price, I wouldn't second guess it ... but for $29.00, yeah, no way in hell

That's really pretty neat, and incentivizes possibly getting some of the really detailed airports and aircraft just to explore. The game engine is definitely capable of good visuals at almost any scale. I doubt it will ever be a priority but it would be fun if they could run a smoothing routine on the roads so that ground vehicles can drive on them without bouncing around all over the geometry in places.

@IntotheBlueSimulations2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's certainly a nice feature to have John and although some have been a bit cynical about being able to "walk" in a flight sim, I certainly think the world of MSFS is detailed enough, to warrant having the capability to do so. Why wouldn't one want to land at the pyramids and take a walk around etc etc? For sure, there are details that could be better at ground level, the roads being one of them. I often wonder if we won't see Black Shark working its magic on the roads, railways etc at some point and eventually having train simulators, trucking simulators etc, all making their way into the MSFS world. Cheers : )

FS Realistic is ok-ish, but we need a "master" button for "sound off" 'cause sound is mostly mono and does not run the master volume percentage of the main simulator. Suggestion: When you make one of these reviews, could you include a link to the item being reviewed? I think it would add much needed context and would allow people to research the wonderful reviews you do even further.
@IntotheBlueSimulations2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, I’ve tended to shy away from doing that, primarily because if there are multiple retail options out there, I don’t want to fall into the trap of; “I bought the product from your link, but it’s cheaper over on XYZ” - I’d rather let the customer do their own research into purchasing options etc. That being said, where there is only one vendor selling a product (as I believe is the case with FSRealistic), perhaps I will look to start including a link. Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words. Cheers! : )

Are you referring to the sim, or FSRealistic, Austin (sounds like the sim)? That could be an internet connectivity issue. I've had the same myself, albeit temporarily; my internet connection was fine, but the Microsoft servers were down or something. It may sound counterintuitive, but try logging off the internet and then staring the sim; that should skip straight through the "Checking for Update" screen and MSFS will load. Obviously you miss out on all of the photo imagery etc, so it's not a way you actually want to run the sim, but at least then you can confirm the issue (if indeed it is internet related). I hope that proves to be of some use. All the best!

I have a couple of other people who do them for me (on commission) Piloto haha. I’ve done a couple of basic liveries myself in the past and it is doable with a few basic pieces of software, but it certainly requires some skill / artistic leaning and quite a bit of time also (which I don’t really have - hence the commissions). If you don’t fancy getting stuck into it yourself, there is also a “requests” page over on Flightsim.to - that’s another option : ) I hope that helps a little. All the best!

Insane. Soon they will make it possible to go into a virtual duty free shop while simming and buy add-ons for MSFS just like the ability to refuel back in the early days. Actually that's a good idea as it will enable any simmer anywhere in the world to have equal access to all MSFS software.

Haha, well I suppose that’s sort of what the Marketplace is Simon (that + sneaking in the purchase options on the world map). It is a shame that the Marketplace purchase options are somewhat limited for the console, but until Asobo sort out the WASM coding issues (which should happen fairly soon), many addons simply aren’t comparable on the Xbox unfortunately. Indeed SB, as does P3D and even right back to FS2002, there were programs that allowed one to do the same thing. It’s seems such an obvious feature have in a sim like MSFS. One day bing maps will be so detailed that we could essentially turn the simulator into something like GTA. It will probably happen with the help of AI and crowdsourcing of 3d-scans from drones/smartphones/cars.
@IntotheBlueSimulations2 жыл бұрын
I think it will go that way eventually Jim. In fact, another comment on this video alluded to the fact that Black Shark AI, is looking to do the same thing with buildings as it has done with other aspects of the sim (ie analyse a building and then add appropriate texturing, such that it would look far more detailed). I'm not sure exactly what the future holds, but no doubt we'll be looking back on MSFS in another 20 years, wondering how we all coped with such basic graphics etc XD Cheers, all the best!

why don't you have a link to where you find these items you discuss in your videos , quite incomplete site
@IntotheBlueSimulations2 жыл бұрын
Hi PaE, Well for a few of reasons really: 1) It takes as much effort for me to add the link in, as it would for one to google the same information (simply googling the name of the product in the title, will undoubtedly lead the viewer to the relevant website(s). 2) I'm always happy to answer questions / comments if people do get stuck. 3) Often these addons are sold on multiple platforms and it's up to the viewer, not me, to choose which option is easiest / cheapest / preferable for them. 4) Some addons are sold exclusively through the Marketplace, in which case I can't link them at any rate. If you look at the description for this video, I actually added in a link for both the scenery and the livery. Where I do think it may be genuinely trickier for the viewer to find something relevant, I try and remember to leave a link. I hope that clarifies things. All the best

I understand what you're saying Bacteriod: It's not that I want a zoom function per se, but I feel that the default zoom level is a bit too "zoomed out", ie everything has a bit of a fisheye effect to it. Curious. Are you flying in 4K? Any chance you could share some of your basic settings? My LOD/TLOD is 120, All traffic set to 30 and 4K. We have a similar setup. Do you use air traffic from FSLTL, AIG or Simple Traffic?
@IntotheBlueSimulations2 жыл бұрын
Hi PTW, My settings are basically as such: - “High End” preset - Pre-Cache = Ultra - Terrain and Object visibility sliders set at 125% (sorry, I forget the actual names of them) - Motion Blur = Off - Glass Cockpit Refresh = Medium - AI Traffic = Off - VSync = On / 60fps That gives a nice balance between graphics and performance. I only run at 1080p though, hence the generally decent fps. Nothing flashy really. I do spend quite a bit of time tweaking lighting and weather in many of my videos though (both can make a huge difference in the sim). As far as traffic goes; so far I've stuck with AIG. I don't have AI traffic on though, so I just use the models for ground traffic at airports. I hope that helps a little? All the best : )
