This is the man that helped lead me to Christ in one of the darkest times of my life. When God took me out of the Mormon church as a born and raised multi-generational Mormon I lost my wife, my family, my home and my friends. It was Charles Stanley in November 2006, that led me on TV in the prayer to accept my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I will forever be eternally grateful to this remarkable man of God. I’ve listened to Parts 1 and 2 of this series (uploaded to YT) and it is inarguably apparent that we are right back to Genesis 6:5-7; where God isn’t pleased with the word because “…how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart is only evil all the time.” We are here again and I believe it is only a matter of time; like of the 11th hour and 59th second. I’m not certain, but I believe this generation/era will be the ones to witness the coming of Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Dr. Stanley, for having the courage to speak truth at a time when folks with "itching ears" do not want to hear it. Anyone who follows Jesus in sincerity and truth makes it a point to read God's written word and obey it with the Holy Spirit's help. In times of trial, I am irresistibly drawn to it. It shows me who God is, and who I am in His eyes. I know that when God says, "I will", then He does. God hates sin and His word says "the soul that sinneth, it shall die". Jesus, who is truth itself, died so that "whosoever believeth" in Him might not perish. Jesus understood that God does not make idle threats. God is not Santa Claus. God is holy and righteous and good. God means what He says: "the soul that sinneth, it shall die". Repent. Seek God's forgiveness. God means what He says: "But he who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved" (Joel 2:32)

Yeah, that verse really got to me when I read how we hurt our Father. If you want to read chapter by chapter, verse by verse ALL Books of the Bible, go to youtube: the shepherds chapel Genesis... or Revelation.. or whichever book you are studying. They prove with documentation the english back to the original Hebrew, Greek etc.

One of my biggest surprises when I first read the Bible cover to cover, was that the story of Noah's Ark which I have heard since my Days in Sunday School, does not end with the ark landing on the mountain. But in fact there's another whole chapter to the story of Noah. An unexpected chapter that leaves one full of questions. Bless you Charles for another thoughtful sermon!

Dear friend you may have asked, "What is God like?" Well did you know that looking at Jesus Christ shows us God's character? When we want to see what God is like, we can look to Jesus. In The Holy Bible, the writer of Hebrews said He is "the exact representation of [God's] being. Wrestling with people's problems, He showed us God's wisdom. In His death, He illustrated God's love. Although we cannot grasp everything about God--He is limitless and we are limited in our thinking--we can be certain of His character when we look at Christ. Dear precious one, it is so important that you acknowledge you are a sinner in need of our Savior. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life. Welcome the righteousness of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) into your life. Receive grace through faith by believing in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection for you. Thank you. I really enjoyed this three part series. I have a question that I'm hoping maybe someone can provide insight. The Bible emphasizes humility and letting our good deeds be done in secret. On the other hand it is good for non-Christians (and other Christians too!) to see Christians having a positive impact on the world. But these two things can easily be in conflict - wanting others to see the goodness while doing our good deeds in secret. I know that it comes down to motivation - do we want others to see our good deeds that they might praise us or praise God? But that's a more nuanced question than it might seem. I want others to think well of me because Christianity is judged by how Christians are perceived, but that still means I want others to think well of me. How do we merge these two things?
