Me too. I can’t listen to the pastors who are shouting and spitting. We shouldn’t be preaching the word of God with such an angry spirit anyways. Charles Stanley speaks in a way where you can actually comprehend what he’s saying because you’re not caught up in the emotion of the preacher.

I look at a well spoken sermon in the same way I view a highly crafted art piece. It all comes from the mind and heart but none the less it's all pretend. And if God is in every fox hole does that mean both sides are firing upon God's troops? Wouldn't that make both sides the enemy of God? I'm sorry sir and thankyou for your service but your comment is not accurate. That old phrase implies that in times of danger that we as humans immediately defer to God to get us out of that jam. It's like jumping out of a plane with no parachute. You can pray to God the whole way down but that doesn't mean God will nullify gravity in your favor. The point is... humans are fascinating enough creatures without having to pretend God exists. But what do I know? I'm in league with the Devils stampede destined to burn in an eternal lake of fire so feel free to disregard everything I say.

0:20 It's a small thing to notice but just the sheer amount of compassion that dwells within this man is impressive. "The reason people don't get on their knees- except their physical things sometimes- is pride..." Thinking about marginalized groups and keeping their struggles close to his heart has become such second nature to Dr. Stanley that he just slips it in there without much thought. I know that wasn't the intended lesson, but that's what I noticed.

I have learned how to understand the meaning of the Parables of Jesus, how to live as a Godly woman, how to pray, and how to obey the Word. I know I need to do better myself! Can’t keep going around the same ole mountain year after year! I personally don’t know anyone that live a submitted life to God, I’m not talking about someone that say they believe in God I’m talking about about someone that have devoted their life to serving the Lord and walking in Love towards one another. He’s 100,000.000 percent right about people so devoted to finding a man/husband or a woman/wife or anything else in this world before Jesus! My greatest desire is to serve the Lord with all my heart, mind and body but I know I can’t truly honor Christ how I want to if I’m still giving into a certain temptation thats unholy and wrong in his eyes, I know I have to lay it down because I don’t wanna find myself 40 years old and older still falling into a temptation knowing I’m a OVERCOMER 😌
