That is awesome to hear, Joseph. Dr. Stanley is right, the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, but not every believer seems to understand the nature and power given us, by God. The only report I can honestly make, is that when I see Godly results in my life, and when I have that desire to be closer to God burning in my heart, ...that is my only real indicator that the HS is working in my life. Satan will of course do his very best to dissuade you of that notion, but God will always help you to overcome. And to be honest, from reading your sentence, your written English is better than many American's I meet, who can't seem to get the most common contractions down, like "you're" "your" "there" "their" etc... This is 2019 and I have been saved for 22 years and I was naturally led to listening to Pastor Stanley myself. There are other pastors out there but not as effective as Pastor Stanley's style of preaching to us and I appreciate that I have been led to listening to him. sharper110 With all due respect , as far as the truth of the gospel is concerned . Dr. Charles Stanley preaches the biblical truth of Salvation. If you really believe that once saved always saved is false then you have to ask yourself why did Jesus promised eternal life in the book of John numerous times for all those who believe on Him. Salvation is a gift of God , we don't deserve it in the first place ..it's all because of God's Grace (undeserving favor)and mercy that He saves us..it's all about Jesus' performance not ours..If we can lose our Salvation then Jesus should have said those who believes in Him WILL HAVE(future tense) ETERNAL LIFE if they obey me. It should be called "conditional "temporary life " but instead He said In John 6 :47 Very truly i say to you He who believes in me "has"(present tense) ETERNAL LIFE I am an ex-Catholic i was spiritually lost until I heard and believed the message of the gospel exactly the same as what Dr. Charles Stanley preaches (it's biblical) I got regenerated -"born again" I have never been the same since. Through the work of the holy spirit He empowers me to live a Godly life in obedience to God's will. Of course I stumble from time to time..since i started my walk with the Lord I've had experienced God's chastisement upon me everytime I stepped out of His will because He loves me .I have the desire to obey Him and to live for Him not because I'm. Afraid to lose my Salvation nor I'm fearful of going to hell but because of my gratitude and love for Jesus for all that He's done for me.. If you live everyday trying all your might to please and obey God out of fear of losing your Salvation .you'll never have peace aad assurance that you gonna be on heaven ..remember we are saved by faith alone..when we put our trust in the substitionary Sacrifice of Jesus in the Calvary God counted it as our rightiousness .He sees the rightiousness of Jesus in us and not our own performance ..our performance will always fall short of His glory. When you see professing Christians who willfully deliberately sinning against God .the question should be wether or not they are truly born again or they just backslide for a season and expect God's chastisement upon them in due time..God cannot be mocked, we'll reap what we sow in this side of heaven and our eternal reward in heaven . This is the way I've been living my life for quite sometime. It was the holy spirit that showed me how to live this way. I didn't know how at all. I was an addict for the most part of my life. But, today God has transformed me into a woman I never thought I could be. I'm not perfect. Only Jesus is. But, I try everyday to live my life like He would want me to. I love the person in the mirror now. I've come further than I ever thought and I still have along way to go. It wasn't easy to get here!!! But, it's worth all the hard and painful things I had to go through. Today, I want to show others life can be good IF we live it the RIGHT way in Gods eyes. Not the worlds. 24:37 Yes! I was driving home from work and wanted to stop and get gas on the way. Something told me to turn left. I thought it was odd, and I argued, saying there was a gas station up ahead with good pricing. The feeling persisted and I did not turn left.
